No, it will not. The Sigma 30mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary Lens for Micro Four Thirds, B&H # SI3014DCDNM, is designed for use on cameras that use the Micro Four Thirds lens mount. If you are looking for a Sigma 30mm lens for the Canon EF lens mount, the Sigma 30mm f/1.4 DC HSM Art Lens for Canon, B&H # SI3014DCHSMC, would work for your usage needs, while the Sigma 35mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art Lens for Canon EF, B&H # SI3514C, would be a slightly less wide option that would also work for your usage needs.

does this lens good for cinema 4k video like samyang cine and meike cine?
Asked by: shine
The lens is sharp and can be used for video and 4k. There are better cine lenses. Most cine lenses are manual and the better ones have de-clicked aperture. So, you can change it smoothly. It really depends on how you will be showing the video, camera model and what you are shooting.

question

What is the T-Stop value?
Asked by: Ollie L.
This isnt a specification that Sigma offers for their lenses, at least that I have seen. That being said, looking at third party testing, the max transmission for the lens in terms of TStop would be 3.1.

Hi, that lens is compatible with the Panasonic G5; if it doesn't work, there's a problem with either the lens or the camera.

question

Is there a lens firmware version higher than 1.1 for the Micro Four Thirds mount? Sigma released a statement that older lenses don't correct the distortion when shooting JPEG; Newer versions should have a yellow sticker on the box. I want to be sure I have the latest version (Mine says 1.1)
Asked by: Anonymous
There is at least one newer firmware update than 1.1 we were able to find via Sigma's website (v. 1.2). Please contact Sigma for more information on their current or previous updates and if you need any additional technical support.
