It’s the correct hood, but when it’s twisted onto the lens it really doesn’t give a good “snap.” It’s on, but doesn’t feel clicked in. After I bought it I googled this symptom, and it’s normal for this lens. I kept it, but now I use a screw on hood, that I can rotate with the polarizer.
The clip on the lens is so loose it has fallen of twice in just under a month. I don't understand because the lens cap that came with the lens is a great fit. If you need one though I'm not sure you have a lot of options. Disappointing really.
