The silver COOLPIX A900 Digital Camera from Nikon features a 20MP 1/2.3" BSI CMOS sensor for high-resolution imagery and 4K videos at 30 fps. This sensor's construction utilizes a stacked backside-illuminated (BSI) design to improve clarity and image quality when working in dimly-lit conditions. The 35x optical zoom lens provides a 35mm equivalent focal range of 24-840mm, covering wide-angle to telephoto perspectives to suit working in a wide variety of environments. Further subject magnification can be achieved using the 70x Dynamic Fine Zoom that effectively doubles the camera's reach. The lens also features Vibration Reduction to help reduce the appearance of camera shake when shooting at the longer zoom lengths or with longer shutter speeds. A 3" 921k-dot tilting LCD screen allows image composition from unique angles, as well as image review and menu navigation.

question
Does the Coolpix 900 allow GPS tagging of the photos via Wi-Fi and a smart phone app?
No true GPS functionality, but it can connect to the smart phone GPS. However, I have found it to be a royal pain and I never use it. Lack of native GPS is my primary complaint about my A900. Second is the poor WiFi connectivity to my iPhone.I wish the camera would allow the acquisition of GPS coordinates from my phone and then store them in nonvolatile RAM so I could connect once to my phone and then shoot all day. It wouldnt be terribly accurate, but it would get to the right country and city.

question
Point and shoot camera with PASM mode function..?? Since this is a FIXED Lens camera...how do set or select the Lens Aperture opening, if the camera is set on Aperture Priority Mode..??
As the Nikon COOLPIX A900 Digital Camera is a new camera that has not yet been released/begun shipping, Nikon has not yet released or posted the instruction manual for the camera on their website. As such, I cannot describe how to change the lens' aperture. However, as with all point-and-shoot cameras that have P/S/A/M control options, it will most likely be changed via either the control dial on the top of the camera next to the Mode dial or via the dial/four-way controller on the rear of the camera. The exact procedure would be described in the camera's instruction manual.

question
How to transfer images to a Mac Computer?
As the In The Box section of our website indicates Nikon includes the Nikon UC-E21 USB Type-A Male to Type-B Micro Male Cable (Black) with the Nikon COOLPIX A900 Digital Camera, you would be able to connect the USB cable to the camera, and connect the other end to the USB terminal on your Mac computer to transfer files using the camera. Likewise, you may consider purchasing an SD/SDHC/SDXC memory card reader that connects to your computer's USB terminal to transfer files from your memory card using the memory card reader.
