Rated 3 out of 5 by from An amazing product...with no support if you don’t have it installed at time of purchase. I’m a big fan of Inovativ, and these brakes are outstanding on set. BUT, they come with NO SUPPORT (Instructions, photos, etc) whatsoever. You are on your own installing them. In all fairness, they say that they “recommend having them installed at the time of purchse” by Inivativ. But hey guysz I live in NYC, and was not interested in the $500+ shipping charges from Inovativ in CA, and instead bought a cart from an authorized Inovativ dealer, but didn’t have the option of brakes at the time. I purchasdd these through B&H to install on my own. I’m pretty mechanical, from cars to bikes to metal work, so I figured I would be ok. The parts arrived in a single plastic bag with no instructions, photos or anything. I contacted Inovativ explaining that I couldn’t possibly ship my cart to them for installation ($1,000 to ship both ways), and asking if they had instructions, or if not, just a photo of the brakes installed so that I could see general part positioning, or at least someone on the west coast who does service. I was told straight up NO. And the said I should have had it installed in-house. They did recommend going to a bike shop (which is a good idea), but even the best bike tech in Brooklyn just scratched his head at the bag of parts. I got the pieces installed, and had a bike machanic do the final brake work (bleeding, calibrating etc), but come the F on guys! I just bought a $3700 cart from one of your authorized dealers, then another $900 in accessories. Take an iPhone photo of the brake placement and send them to me or something!! It’s a grate product, but they have seriously disappointed me on the customer service end in this one. For a digital cart worth more than a used car I expect a lot more guys. If you buy these, make sure you’re up for an adventure installing them, or find a great bike mechanic to do the work, because YOU'RE ON YOUR OWN.
