question

For Shogun Flame: What other batteries can I use? The batteries that come with the Shogun don't last that long and I need a 2nd set.
Asked by: Jimmy A.
Hello Jimmy A, the Batteries are the Sony NP L lock batteries, we also provide a D-tap to AC, which then you can use the larger batteries like Anton Bauer / BlueShape / CORE SWX / IDX etc...

question

Can the Shogun Flame output video through the HDMI OUT and SDI OUT simultaneously??
Asked by: Anonymous
According to Atomos: Built in to the Shogun Flame are both SDI and HDMI inputs. This means that either input is able to be routed out of both the HDMI and SDI outputs at the same time. This allows you to use SDI cameras with other HDMI equipment or HDMI cameras in an SDI infrastructure. This is accessed via the input menu See page 18.

question

I have an a7s II so no SDI out. I want to use this to monitor from the ground with a Kessler Crane but the Atomos HDMI to SDI adapter maxes out at 1080p60. Is there a solution to monitor and record in 4K with a 10' bnc or HDMI 2.0 cable of that length that handles 4K?
Asked by: Michael
Hi, The Shogun flame has a HDMI 1.4b in put and loop out so can take up to 4KUHD at up to 30FPS. It also have a SDI out put that you can use as a HDMI to SDI conversion allowing you to out put 4kUHD at up to 30p. You can also turn on a 4K to HD down convert so the recording is 4k but the output is as HD. for 4k ensure you have a high speed good spec cable as not all are created equal, 10m for 4k 30p should be ok for most but many do not work are as lesser spec.

question

Hello, can you input hdmi and output sdi? And vice versa? Thanks!
Asked by: Ian S.
The Shogun Flame has SDI <=>HDMI CONVERSION allowing the loop out to be used as both HDMI and SDI. The output can also be processed with 4k to HD down convert and 3DLuts applied.

question

Specs say it can record Cinema DNG from C300 MKII. Usually Raw from Canon Cinema line are 10 bit RMF files and have White Balance and Iso baked in, while usually CDNG don't. Is it possible to have more info about recording Raw from Canon Cinema line? I emailed Atomos, but no reply. I'd like to know what I get before paying $1695.00. Thanks
Asked by: Leonardo
Sorry, I don't know. I unfortunately don't have a C300 to test it.
