COSYSPEED COCS0012 overview

  • 1Description

As the perfect, photographic scene unfolds before your eyes, you intuitively reach down with one hand, to grab your mirrorless or small DSLR camera from the blue COSYSPEED Streetomatic Camera Bag, and capture the shot at the moment of perfection – Booyah! Built for speed; the Streetomatic features a weather flap with a clasp closure that's easy to open and lightning fast on the draw. Interior, touch-fastening, padded dividers are useful for organizing gear. The waist belt offers photographers the choice of wearing the bag at the waist or from the shoulder. To save space, robust, yet thin PE plates sandwiched between the bag's inner and outer fabrics are used in place of traditional thicker foam material.

A side pocket on either side of the bag may be used for accessories or personal items like a wallet, phone or keys. Integral, interior side flaps afford added weather protection. During heavy downpours, this weather protection is supplemented with an included rain cover that covers the entire Streetomatic. When not needed, the rain cover stows in its own storage pouch. Included free with your Streetomatic Bag is one Fingercamstrap. This strap serves as a safeguard against dropping, and has a finger loop with a camera strap lug connector. The Streetomatic may be worn on either side of your body, and is designed to help alleviate the stress, strain and fatigue of carrying a camera all day long.

    COSYSPEED COCS0012 reviews

Streetomatic Camera Bag (Blue) is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from If the camera fits, wear it. Like the cosyspeed site says, it really is more comfortable to carry on a belt instead of a shoulder strap. It is too big (and if loaded too heavy) to carry with belt-loop attachment to a plain trouser belt. The belt attached to this bag distributes the weight comfortably and allows the bag to be shifted to either side, behind, or in front. I highly recommend this bag, if your stuff fits. The dimensions given on the site are confusing. Depth x Height: 3.4-4.2 x 6.0-7.0 / 8.5-10.5 x 15.5-17.5 cm What's hyphenated supposed to mean? Two movable/removable partitions are included, so the main compartment can divided. We need the inside dimensions of the main compartment. My camera measures 7 inches from viewfinder eyecup to tip of the lens hood. No way does it fit in this bag. The 7.0 dimension is wrong. My camera is a snug fit at 6.5 inches with just a sky filter and lens cap. My measurement of the interior dimensions: 6.5 x 6.0 x 3.8 inch 16.5 x 15.2 x 9.5 cm If you get this bag. While packing the car trunk I noticed that the press-to-release clasp can open if the bag rolls face-down, so I always lay this bag face-up. SDcard pocket is deep. A single-card case may need a lanyard to retrieve it from this deep pocket.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from DSLR is too big or the STREETOMATIC is too small. Please consider the fact that; if the STREETOMATIC is a bit bigger in the width, depth, and height - then it would be perfect for a DSLR. I have the Pentax K-5 which is on the smaller side; therefore, I can vouch that the STREETOMATIC is no gunslinger for a DSLR Camera. I do however like the fact that it is lightweight and on the sturdy side, and comes in my favourite colour BLUE. All I need now is a Mirrorless Camera which can slide easily in and out of the STREETOMATIC. I do not live in the US, so returning this item will cost me twice the postage, not an option.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I Love This Bag!! I've been looking for a hip bag for a long time as a replacement to my other bag. After some trial and error with other bags I came across the Streetomatic on Indiegogo. I've been very impressed with how responsive Cosyspeed was with questions I had. I love the blue and it is comfortable around my waist. I really like that it sits a little lower than my other hip bag. This makes it more comfortable around my waist when I'm riding my motorcycle. The front pocket holds my iPhone 6 perfectly. The interior I have sectioned off holds my Polaroid Snap and Sony A6000 with a 50mm lens perfectly. I love that it has a lower profile compared to most bags but can still hold my gear just fine. My only hesitation about a hip bag is that is a little unfashionable and could look like a fanny pack. After a month with it, I don't feel that is the case at all. I like how I can quickly grab my camera from my side without the weight sitting around my neck or on my shoulders. For anyone who's like me and doesn't want to have a strap hanging on me, the Streetomatic is a great choice. This is definitely my go-to bag on all my photography adventures! For the price, I may even pick up one in a second color!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Streetomatic Camera Bag (Khaki) Bag is well made, side pockets come handy for cellphone. Big enough for a not too big M43 with a prime attached. It's advertised as holding a camera with lens attached plus another lens. Not likely. Unless you want to shove a second lens in there and scratch everything in the process. This bag is good for hiking, cycling when weight and bulk are a factor, or a day of street photography, for anything else you need a bigger bag. The price point was Ok so I kept it, if the price were higher I would have returned it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect carry solution for mirrorless I recently sold my full size DSLR and lenses and switched to mirrorless. I wanted to take full advantage of the small size and light weight of the system, and the Streetomatic is the perfect carry solution to achieve that goal. A Sony A6000 with attached 18-105 f/4 fits perfectly in a horizontal position. Below the barrel of the lens I've fashioned a platform from two of the dividers, one horizontal to make the platform, the second vertical to enclose the space. The barrel of the lens rests on the platform, and it keeps the camera perfectly stable in the case. Under the platform a second lens is nestled, held in place by the second divider Currently that's the 16-50 kit lens (a bit redundant) but this will soon be replaced by a Rokinon 12mm f/2, which I'm confident will fit nicely. I think these two lenses, the A6000 and the Streetomatic will give me a small, lightweight and versatile travel kit. The side pockets can accommodate spare batteries and cables. Others have mentioned the comfort and versatility of the belt, and the quick one-hand access afforded by the pack, all of which I can confirm. Rotating the belt slightly to the rear moves the case off the hip and allows for a natural arm swing on long walks or hikes. I'll add that the unique belt buckle, which requires two hands to open, adds a degree of security that will make any attempt to grab-and-dash much more difficult for a would-be thief. Another unique quality of the bag is the material from which it's constructed. It's rigid to hold shape, thin to minimize space, yet still has reasonable ability to cushion the contents in the event of a drop. Very well chosen by the designers. Finally, for what is essentially a member of the fanny pack family, it doesn't look dorky. It's attractive and has a look of quality. Highly recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A mirrorless dream bag Hands free. That sums it up. Fast access to the camera and lens. That sums it up. Designed to fit perfectly off the side with a special hugger that lets the bag fall perfectly on the hip. That sums it up. Can from time to time be used as a shoulder bag especially if you buy the extender strap. I have a couple of these bags as well as the original Cosyspeed bag and lens bags that attach to the belt if you feel you want to carry an extra lens. Sometimes I take the Streetomatic with a Fuji Xt1, Xpro1 or Xe2 with a lens mounted and that is it for the day. I don't worry about the rain and with the exception of the camera being around my neck, this is the fastest camera pull I have ever used. It came with partitions that sit low in the bag for a bit of separation from i.e. a cable release, battery, etc. Lens cases attach firmly to the belt if you want an extra lens. My phone fits in the side pouch and extra batteries, cleaning stuff, etc fit in the zippered pouch on the other side. It comes with a rain cover but have not found a need for it because in a light rain the camera stays well protected in the bag as do the lenses in the lens pouches. The locking mechanism on the belt is fast and secure, and the belt lock requires a to button push for security. If you are a mirrorless user and want to really simplify your photography life when you are out and about this is a perfect solution

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really cool and original bag Got this bag to carry around my A7ii+24-70F4 and it fits perfect. What is cool is that if you are wearing a jacket it is really comfortable as the bag sits lower than a belt bag so it does not interfere with the jacket. The only bad thing about the bag is that if you are walking and leave the flap open it makes a pretty loud clicking sound..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Convenient and fast to get a camera out I've bought it for panasonic lumix gx8. gx8 and a lens 12-35 (with the hood) fits well. Getting a camera out with only one hand takes around 3 sec or less. I also use their finger strap (was included with the bag), and it is convenient protection against dropping a camera.
