Designed to support a cine-style workflow, the lens features a clickless iris for smooth iris pulls and cine-standard geared focus and aperture rings. Compared to the 49mm front filter threads found on the Cine II version, the Cine III lens features 52mm front filter threading for attaching filters or other optional accessories, such as the SLR Magic Anamorphot adapter and Achromatic Diopters. question

How many degrees is the focus throw rotation?
Asked by: NICHOLAS
SLR Magic does not list the focus throw rotation for this lens. Keep in mind that this is a very small lens with a diameter around 40mm, it is not going to have a very large focus throw rotation.

While we are not aware of any specific specs on its lens breathing, as a more affordable cinema lens option you should expect there to be some breathing with this lens.

What is the MFT focal length for this lens? Since this is a MFT lens for a MFT camera, is the focal length halved?
Asked by: Charles
No, it's 25mm. The depth of field, etc is what you would expect from a 25 mm lens. If you're talking about field of view, it would be similar to what you would get on a 50 mm lens on a camera with a 35 mm sensor.

Micro Four Thirds lenses have a crop factor 2x, so this 25mm lens is equivalent to a 50mm Full Frame lens.

If this lens is wobbling on your camera, it likely does not properly fit. I suggest trying a different lens.

Will the SLR Magic Anamorphot-1.33x 50 work on this?
Asked by: Jon
According to SLRMagic, they are a perfect pair. However, through further research, it's best to also get the Rangefinder cine adapter. All reviews I've seen/watched, focus becomes a difficult task without the rangefinder.
