Yes but, I have not been able to release the lens from the teleconverter so I would not recommend this model.

question

Is this for canon rebel T3/1100D
Asked by: Angie O.
Yes, the FotodioX Autofocus 2x Teleconverter for Canon EF/EF-S may be used on the Canon EOS Digital Rebel T3 DSLR camera. Do note that, depending on the maximum aperture of the lens you intend to use on the above teleconverter, you may have to focus the lens manually if the lens has a maximum aperture of f/2.8 or smaller.

question

Will this lens work with a Canon EF-S 55-250 zoom?
Asked by: Anonymous
Yes, you may use the Canon 55-250mm f/4-5.6 EF IS lens together with the Fotodiox AF 2x Teleconverter for Canon EF/EF-S Lenses. However, do note that, due to the f/4-5.6 aperture range of the 55-250mm lens, when using the Fotodiox teleconverter, you would have to focus the lens manually. Autofocus would not be compatible for use with this setup.

Will this work on a Canon EOS 90D with a 18-135 is USM lens?
Asked by: Robert
Yes and no. It will work with the Canon 90D and the 18-135mm lens, but with caveats. Teleconverters reduce your effective aperture, and you'll need a minimum of f/8 to use autofocus. When you use the lens at longer focal lengths, (for example at 135mm the aperture is f/11) you may lose autofocus capabilities.

Unfortunately, it will not. This is for Canon EF/EF-S mount lenses and will not fit on EF-M mount lenses.

I have a Canon T7, using a 70-300 lens(ultrasonic) Will this work for me? I would NOT need Autofocus.
Asked by: Kyle
Well, mine works as intended and passes all comm from camera to lens and back. My problem was that I could not REMOVE the converter..! I even tried tapping gently with a plastic headed hammer on the release button, but to no avail. Finally I bought a second zoom just like the first one, so now I have one WITH the converter attached, and another WITHOUT.
