Extend the reach of your existing Canon EF-mount lenses with this Autofocus 2x Teleconverter from Fotodiox. This converter doubles the effective focal length of your lens, turning a 50mm lens into a 100mm optic for example. It also maintains communication between the lens and camera and uses multi-coated optics to limit ghosting and flares. Additionally, the four element design ensures sharp imagery. This converter is compatible with EF/EF-S-mount camera bodies and with most EF-mount lenses. To ensure autofocus compatibility, confirm your camera's AF sensitivity will support the two stop reduction in light.

FotodioX EOS-2X-AF-TELE Reviews
Doubles zoom
Doubles zoom and images are sharp. It's a bit tight getting my 55-250 lens on. Shutter speed is quartered to get the same brightness due to the nature of teleconverters. Autofocus won't focus in the viewfinder, as mentioned in the description, but can usually get a good focus in live shooting mode. Some people complained about image sharpness, my guess is they aren't getting the focus right, or are having trouble with motion blur due to a slower shutter and the lens being zoomed in further. Using the live shooting mode zoomed in to 10x works really well for judging the manual focus. Can get super close to subjects for a low price. I can even get small butterflies to fill the whole frame when using my 55-250 with the teleconverter.
