Is this lens hood 46mm, and does it screw on over ...

Is this lens hood 46mm, and does it screw on over a filter? I have a 35mm 1.4 Summilux ASPH lens that I bought used. The bayonet lens hood doesn't stay on, and I'd prefer a screw on hood. I want to be sure this will screw into the 46mm Leica UV filter I have on the lens. Please advise.

Is this lens hood compatible with the 35mm Summicron aspherical?
Asked by: Marlon
The lens hood that is compatible with the 35mm f2 Summicron is B&H # LEH28F2835MM, Leica cat # 12470 which should be in stock on B&H's site. I would stick with the recommended hood for best anti-glare performance.
