Key Features
- Clear Protective Filter
- Absorbs Ultraviolet Light
- Reduces Bluish Cast of Daylight
- 1x Filter Factor, No Exposure Change
The Hoya 86mm HMC UV Filter is a general use, clear filter designed to absorb ultraviolet light and reduce the bluish cast of daylight. Aside from the reduction of unwanted blue casts, no additional coloration or contrast is created, and adjustments to exposure are not required while using this filter. To prevent internal ghosting and reflections while providing over 96% light transmission, each glass surface includes three layers of anti-reflection coating. These coatings also offer greater protection to the filter substrate and help it to stay clean for longer than with uncoated filters.

The Alpha version is a standard type of UV filter, the C version is a thinner version with shallower filter threads. This version is popular on wider lenses where vignetting can be a potential issue.

question
does this filter fit the Panasonic Lumix FZ80?
No, the Hoya 46mm Ultraviolet UV (C) Haze Multicoated Filter is not compatible for use with the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ80 Digital Camera. The Panasonic DMC-FZ80 has 55mm filter threads. As such, I would instead recommend the Hoya 55mm Ultraviolet UV(0) Haze Filter, B&H # HOUVMC55, for your usage needs.
