Mobile 3D Printer Cart with Two Front Locking Drawers and Four Side Shelves (Steel) is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great cart that is well built and surprisingly affordable This cart is fantastic. Finding a cart with this much real estate, and built this well for under $700 is quite a feat. To be honest, it's the only one of its kind that I have found. You have to spend well over $1k for most carts of this quality. The steel construction is sturdy, with the welds and rivets of good quality and fit. The drawers are a bit thinner metal than I would have liked, but still very functional and a worthy place to skimp on materials to save money. The structure of the cart (where it counts), is heavy gage and painted with a durable finish. I noticed a few locations under shelving where the paint sprayer didn't cover as well as they should have, but unless you are laying on the floor you wouldn't see it. We used this cart to mount a dual monitor arm and laptop docked in the top drawer. This workstation rolls around our shop and works very well. Drilling through the top of the cart and mounting an amazon basics dual monitor arm worked great and is very sturdy and secure. The rear panel is removable, allowing access to the behind the drawers for wiring the monitors to the laptop and battery backup on the bottom shelf (under the two drawers). The bottom, hanging-file sized drawer is of little use to us, but seems fine for those who have need for it. The rear panel is heavier-gage than I expected, but still reasonable for removal and drilling two holes to make access for our cables (see photos) A punchout in the side of the cart allowed us to run the power cable out of the cart. We added an extension-cord mount on the side to wrap our cord around. Pros- Steel construction, heavy stock where it matters Good fit to panels and shelves. Top material thick wood and sturdy. Locking drawers on good slides Middle-sized casters with locking wheels Large work area at standing height. Cons- Paint sprayer missed some spots under shelves during construction Thin metal on drawers Caster locks feel cheap but work fine. Worried about longevity.
