Photographers' Formulary 10-1200 1LB overview

  • 1Description

Photographers' Formulary 1 lb of Sodium Chloride is used in combination with other photographic chemicals, such as potassium bromide and other alkali metal halides, to create a light sensitive photographic emulsion.

Sodium Chloride is also used with toners to convert silver into different colored tones in black and white photographs. As a washing aid, sodium chloride removes residual fixer from B&W photographs.
