Epson 2760 reviews

WorkForce WF-2760 All-in-One Inkjet Printer is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice small printer Nice printer, work's great. Did not come with any operating info, just basic set up instructions. The wireless part of the set up was not that easy. I was getting prompt's to troubleshoot, Firewall, router etc. Spent an hour with the cable co. on the phone. no help there, called Epson, they were great!! Had me up and running in minute's, after spending three hour's on my own...... So don't hesitate to call Epson support, they are great.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Mixed feelings The good news is, all the advertised features work. The not-as-good news is, there are unmentioned limitations (or at least ones I should have been aware of, and wasn't). In particular, printing envelopes is a pain. My prior printer was a multi-function HP ink jet. One of the cartridges died, and leaked all over everything in the process. Given the HP's age and the good price (US$ 99) for the WF-2760, I thought it reasonable to change. But the HP would feed envelopes as is. You just put 'em on the top of the paper tray, adjusted to the right. The feeder's grabber was wide enough to take an envelope. But ... ... the WF-2760 requires you to (1) remove paper from the feeder, (2) adjust the plastic feeder tray boundaries to letter size (which forces center alignment of the envelope, not left or right), (3) make paper-size adjustments via the printer's front screen, and sigh (4) take your best shot at parameters in your word processor (MS Word on a Mac, in my case). After four envelopes -- both sides, both orientations, meaning 16 attempts -- I gave up and wrote Epson. The good news is, they replied quickly. The suboptimal news is, it took a lot of non-obvious tweaks to get things to work (including changing the built-in envelope size, something I would have never thought of). Now I just have to remember the tweaks, and write 'em all down to save me a bucket of envelopes. The printer's functional, cute (??), and has a slightly smaller footprint than the HP did, all of which I appreciate. I just feel it should have been easier to get the expletive-deleted thing working. Would I recommend it to a friend? Well, how good is the friend? Seriously, I dunno. Mixed feelings here.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not work We got this printer and it has not printed a page correctly from day one. They all have smudges or lines where ink is missing. It will not do wireless printing correctly or scan wirelessly, and even when connected via USB, it takes about an hour of messing with it and trying over and over for it to scan one page. I consider myself very computer and printer savvy, but this one has tried every ounce of my patience for technology. Not worth your time or money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Self destructing printer Set up went smoothly; no issues. Printed several documents from laptop and tablet successfully Tried to copy using ADF. Machine kept telling me there was a jam in different places, but there wasn't. I decided to just use the flat bed to get the job done. When I lifted the cover, one of the feed mechanisms with four gears and a retaining spring fell out of the machine in pieces. I can't wait to see how I'm going to get this resolved.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nope I guess you get what you pay for. I bought mine in February 2017. It worked great for a couple months. Scanner okay. Then I had to keep cleaning the heads. Now it leaves white horizontal lines spaced every to 1 thought the paper. I've run the alignment multiple times with no luck resolving the issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All my past printers have been an Epson. I will continue !! I bought this WF-2760 to replace my WF-2750. It works great and just as important, the Installation process was very easy (even for a technically challenged person like myself ! And the print cartridges from my new printer are the same as the old one. A HUGE bonus !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Printer I love it so easy to set up.i had an HP before and it was harder to set up. I lost the WIFI and could never get it to connect. I had a Epson WorkForce before the HP should have got another one right away.
