Fotodiox is making the super compact mirrorless camera more ergonomic and comfortable for larger hands with the Pro Metal Hand Grip for the Olympus OM-D E-M5. Mounting via a recessed thumb screw mount on the base, it extends the camera's vertical height and adds a front hand grip for a secure hold. The grip also boasts a durable anodized aluminum construction and has a cutout on the base that allows users to access the battery and memory card slot without removing the grip. Additionally, it has an offset 1/4"-20 tripod socket in order to enable full functionality while the grip is in use.

Pro Metal Hand Grip for Olympus OM-D E-M5 is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good quality for the money Sturdy and really helpful with bigger lenses, feels almost luxurious, nearly a perfect fit. Only complaint I have is about the space left between the bottom plate and the camera (about one millimeter - something between 1/16 and 1/32) towards the right side, under the battery compartment, but certainly not a deal breaker (to be honest, you have to look closely to see it and it doesn't wobble). The fact it allows changing the battery is a big plus for me, but it is a little awkward to open the battery compartment door since it's not spring loaded (but that's Olympus' fault :) and the solution is simple: just turn the camera in landscape shooting position after you have pulled the door's lever and it will open). Another plus (in my opinion) is that it looks less after market than the original (and very expensive) version made by Olympus (and I'm a big fan of Olympus). The price is fair and the shopping experience with B&H a pleasure. I think it' a four and a half star product, but, at this price, I have to rate it five :).
