question

Does the Zacuto Gratical Eye Micro OLED EVF come with a power cable and 3G-SDI Cable? If not, what would you recommend For Sony FS7?
Asked by: Robert
It does not. The one pictured is here. http://store.zacuto.com/power-video-cable/. You can have us order it by calling or emailing us. 800.606.6969 or 212.444.6615 E-Mail:[email protected]bhphotovideo.com. You can use a flexible HD-SDI BNC connector cable like this. (The picture is a stock photo. The cable itself should be very thin.) Canare HD-SDI Flexible Coaxial Cable with BNC Connectors (2' / 0.61 m) B&H # CAL45CHWS2. However, it does not have right angle connectors which we think is a better idea. Here is a 24 power cable for use with a D-Tap battery. Hi.. can I use this with Phantom flex 4k camera ?
Asked by: shiva
We are not familiar with Phantom cameras. However if that camera has an HDMI or SDI output which send out a signal that is up to 1080p at 60fps it should work fine. However this will not see any super fast slow motion frame rates.

question

Can the Eye be powered from the Ursa Mini Pro's 4-pin XLR side output (the same one that powers their own viewfinders?)
Asked by: Weston
Yes, and here is the cable: Nebtek 4-Pin XLR Male to 2-Pin LEMO Bolt Power Cable (6') B&H # NEBOLTL2XLR4. There is also the option of powering from a d-tap if you wish to use the Eye on another camera that does not have a 4 pin XLR power connection. Zacuto Power & Video Cable (30 ) B&H # ZAZEPVC.

If you shoot 4K, does this evf downconvert the 4K ...

If you shoot 4K, does this evf downconvert the 4K signal to 1080p HD or does it not accept a 4K signal at all? In other words, do you have to shoot 1080p (or less) resolution to use this evf?
Asked by: Andrew
This supports up to a 1080p signal only. It does not accept 4k. You will need to come out of your camera through HD.
