A complete power solution for your RED camera, this B&H Kit features four HyperCore RED 14.8V 98Wh V-mount batteries designed to RED's communication protocol and the Fleet Q four-position simultaneous charger from Core SWX. The HyperCore RED will provide the exact battery percentage to your RED viewfinder. HyperCore batteries are capable of handling 10A draws for extended periods without diminishing in service life, making them ideal power sources for your RED camera, and the Fleet Q will simultaneously charge all four batteries in approximately 2.5 hours.
The HyperCore batteries are loaded with advanced features, including a hibernation feature designed to preserve state of charge and minimize issues resulting from self-discharge, a large LCD right on the front offering time, grid, and run-time/capacity percentage displays, 1,000 charge/discharge cycles, safety sensors, D-tap and USB outputs, and rubberized, non-slip outer housing. The Fleet Q charger, at 5 lb and approximately 4" thick, has a relatively slim and a lightweight design, and has an integrated recessed carry handle for comfortable transport.
Note: The HyperCore RED can be used on non-RED cameras as well, but you will only be able to get basic information communicated to the viewfinder.
4 x Core SWX Hypercore 98 Wh 14.8V V-Mount for RED
The HC-98RED HyperCore Battery from Core SWX features 98 watt-hours and is designed to power RED cameras. It communicates directly with your camera, delivering the exact percentage of remaining capacity to the camera's VF/LCD. Additionally, the battery cells can withstand up to a 10A draw for extended periods of time without diminishing service life. There is an over molded, rubberized housing for protection against accidental impacts and a runtime LCD on the front of the pack. The LCD display shows the battery's lifespan in hours and minutes, an estimation of run time based on a dummy load of 30W when in standby mode, and serves as a charge indicator when the battery is charging.
The Hypercore Red Battery is outfitted with an accelerometer to detect motion and a clocking algorithm to gauge how long the battery is not in use. This system will cause the battery to sleep or hibernate when there is no battery usage or movement after a 48-hour period. When the battery detects movement it will automatically re-awaken at maximum capacity, ready for use. There is an integrated D-tap connection for powering a 12 VDC device as well as a USB power output. The battery pack also offers a V-mount and falls within the range of accepted capacity for air travel.

Core SWX Fleet Q V-Mount Four-Position Charger
Featuring four independent charge bays, the Core SWX Fleet Q V-Mount Charger is capable of charging four batteries simultaneously by focusing on each individually. Four 98Wh batteries can be charged in approximately 2.5 hours. Red and green LEDs indicate charging/complete status. Supporting 90-240 VAC input voltage, Fleet Q is worldwide compatible if you incorporate the appropriate plug adapter, sold separately.
Weighing five pounds and measuring approximately four inches thick, Fleet Q is relatively lightweight and slim for a four-battery charger. It also features a recessed carry handle that makes transport convenient. The housing is made of aluminum, providing for a robust build.
