Within the Distagon optical design, this lens uses a series of aspherical and anomalous partial dispersion elements to greatly reduce color fringing, distortion, and other aberrations to realize sharp, clear, and color-accurate imagery. A floating elements system is also employed for consistent performance throughout the focusing range, and an enhanced ZEISS T* anti-reflective coating has been applied to reduce flare and ghosting for working in difficult lighting conditions.

I bought zeiss 18mm on oct.25/2016. right now the steady functionality is broken, it always has strange sound come out. when I shakes it, it seems gone, but it will come back again.. I am in Shanghai now. where can I send for repairing. still within warranty period?

No, the lens itself doesn't but some of the camera body does.

Has anyone experienced issues where the focus motor gets stuck and the motor keeps make noise untill I turn off the camera? it happened to me once.

The Zeiss lens has a auto focus motor so yes, AF will work continuously during video.
