    Corsair K70 reviews

Gaming K70 RAPIDIFRE Backlit Mechanical Keyboard is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing keyboard I think it was unfair for someone to rate the keyboard poorly because they failed to purchase the RGB version. It gives the reader no insight into the quality of the product, but rather, illustrates the reviewer’s inability to pay attention to what they are purchasing. This is NOT the RGB version of the Corsair K70. The quality of the keyboard is fantastic, and the feel of the keys is incredible. They are fast (hence rapid fire), and precise. I recommend this keyboard for gaming. If you are a more casual gamer who would mainly use this keyboard for work or heavy typing, then I suggest the MX brown keys. These rapid fire keys are like a hairpin trigger, and just slightly pressing the key will engage it. It’s easy to make mistakes with this keyboard when typing fast, but It’s extremely useful when gaming. If you don’t need the RGB K70 rapidfire, save some money and go with this one.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not multi-colored This keyboard I ordered from B&H at Christmas time as a present for my son, it is also called the K70. I think it would be a little more convenient and courteous for Corsair to rename the multi-colored K70 a completely different model number. I am sure I am not the only one who has made this mistake. I am a network engineer, purchased hundreds of thousands of dollars in equipment for companies and never imagined they would name the K70's in a way where a mistake could be made. At the time I ordered it before Christmas 2015, I do not believe it was specific enough in the description as it is now. So, I gave my son the k70 Red, thinking it was programmable, and when I finally had time to help him program it, I realized, it was not programmable, and the cost before Christmas, was nearly the same as the multi-colored one, which was not so easily identifiable as being different from the one indicating RED. Upon investigating the mistake, I found hundreds of people on the internet who have purchased the Red by mistake too, and have also spent time trying to figure out how to make it give the rainbow effect. I already own a Corsair Red for my computer from a year ago, when I ordered my sons, it showed a photo of a multi colored keyboard and said k70, so I assumed k70 meant rainbow effects. Very disappointing, when the price is nearly the same, funny thing, before Christmas the multi-color was out of stock, today it is out of stock and both times, the K70 Red is given readily as an alternative, but before Christmas in 2015, it was not so clear that it was not multi-colored, so I wasted my purchase and did not notice it was the wrong one for 2 months. I will buy another, but beware, read the B&H page carefully, make sure you do not make the same mistake I did. They should not give the choice to order the Red on the same page as the multi-color, without boldly and large print, saying it is a one color keyboard, not COLOR programmable. I was one of hundreds who made mistake.
