I have VHS and Cassette tapes I want to transfer to my laptop. Will this work for both VHS & Cassette?
Asked by: MARIBEL
We're afraid not. This is an AV to HDMI converter, it is not a capture device. To capture VHS tapes on to a computer you will need a capture device such as the Elgato USB Analog Video Capture Device, B&H # ELVC. https://bhpho.to/2i6yuTh

According to the manufacturer, yes, you can do what you wish. The device is a pass-through and you can just pull off the audio for what ever your needs are.

Does this include any cables (hdmi, usb)?
Asked by: Larry
An HDMI cable is not included, however a USB cable is. You will need to supply a USB Power Supply for the unit though, such as B&H # XUCAC124. https://bhpho.to/2ntn26N
