Characterized by its improved shutter unit, the HC 80mm f/2.8 Lens from Hasselblad is the normal-length lens for the H system, and permits shooting at shutter speeds up to 1/2000 sec. with flash sync supported at all speeds. Even while featuring a simple six elements, six groups optical design, this versatile prime produces a flat image plane with minimal distortion to naturally render scenes with a great deal of clarity and color fidelity. The f/2.8 maximum aperture provides a bright viewfinder image as well as permits fine-tuned control over focus for shallow depth of field techniques. The HC 80mm f/2.8 also features a versatile handling design, which makes use of a full focusing AF system that can be manually overridden at any time for fine-tuned control, as well as the ability to work with subjects as close as 2.3' away.

Whats the equivalent field of view on 35mm?
The crop factor of the H6D-100C camera is about 0.61 so 80mm X 0.61 = 49mm

Will this lens work with the new Hasselblad X2D camera?
I have a H to X adapter and the lens with firmware v 18 or higher will autofocus quite nicely. The older HC 80 2.8 lenses' have shutter speed of 1/800 while the newer ones have 1/2000. I love mine on the X1D II and it can be had for quite a bargain on the pre-owned market.

Which Hasselblad adapter fits on the outside front lugs of this lens so I can use the 6093 Pro Shade? In other words: what size hood does it take? Not filter thread size, but the exterior mount (60, 70, etc?).
Hasselblad does not produce an adapter ring for the discontinued Hasselblad Proshade on the Hasselblad HC 80mm f/2.8 Lens.

question
Will this lens work with my D800 Nikon?
No, it will not. The Hasselblad Normal 80mm f/2.8 HC Auto Focus Lens for H Cameras is designed for use on Hasselblad H-series medium format cameras, and will not fit the Nikon F-mount.
