A versatile pair of high-performance lenses for Nikon F-mount DSLRs, this Zeiss Otus ZF.2 Bundle includes wide-angle and portrait-length primes, along with a dedicated hard protective transport case and two lens gears for use with follow focuses when recording video.

The widest lens in this bundle is the Otus 28mm f/1.4 ZF.2, which features a Distagon optical concept and apochromatic design to reduce distortion and produce clean, well-corrected imagery. Anomalous partial dispersion and aspherical elements are used to control aberrations and a T* anti-reflective coating suppresses flare and ghosting. Secondly, this bundle also includes the Otus 85mm f/1.4 ZF.2, which is a bright portrait-length lens utilizing a Planar design. This apochromat also employs aspherical and anomalous partial dispersion glass, as well as a T* coating, for a high degree of sharpness and clarity. Each of these manual focus lenses are further characterized by robust metal housing and rubber focusing rings for enhanced control, as well as bright yellow-colored focusing scales for ease of use.

Included with the two lenses is a dedicated Otus Transport Case, which accommodates each of the lenses, as well as an optional third lens, during storage or travel. Additionally, two large Lens Gears are also included for refined focusing control in conjunction with follow focuses during video recording.

  • Otus 28mm f/1.4 ZF.2 Lens for Nikon F

Bright-eyed and wide-angled, the Nikon F mount Zeiss Otus 28mm f/1.4 is an optically-refined prime poised to deliver a high degree of resolution and clarity in nearly any shooting condition. Featuring an apochromatic design, and utilizing the Distagon concept to reduce distortion, this lens uses a series of eight anomalous partial dispersion glass elements and two aspherical elements to virtually eliminate chromatic and spherical aberrations throughout the aperture range. A floating elements system is also used for consistent performance throughout the focusing range and a Zeiss T* anti-reflective coating suppresses lens flare and ghosting for increased contrast and color fidelity. Equaling the optical prowess of a Strigidae-inspired lens, the Otus 28mm f/1.4 is also characterized by a robust physical design for intuitive, exacting handling.

The wide-angle focal length pairs with the bright f/1.4 maximum aperture to suit working in broad variety of lighting conditions and is well-suited to a range of applications, including landscape, architecture, and interior photography. Accentuating the range of control, this manual focus lens is complemented by haptic design elements, including a 120° rotational focus throw, rubberized focus ring, and an all-metal lens barrel with high-visibility yellow scale markings.

Prime wide-angle 28mm f/1.4 lens is designed for FX format Nikon F mount DSLRs, and can also be used with DX models where it will provide a 42mm equivalent focal length.
Fast f/1.4 maximum aperture is well-suited to photographing in difficult lighting conditions and also affords greater control over focus placement when using selective focus techniques.
Two aspherical elements help to suppress spherical aberrations for greater clarity and consistent illumination and sharpness from edge to edge, regardless of the aperture setting in use.
An apochromatic design makes use of eight anomalous partial dispersion glass elements to nearly eliminate chromatic aberrations in order to reduce color fringing and color artifacts in front of and behind the plane of focus.
Employing a Distagon optical concept, this lens delivers virtually distortion-free performance that pairs well with the broad angle of view.
A floating element design places variable air gaps between select lens groups to realize consistent performance throughout the focusing range, from 11.8' to infinity.
Zeiss T* anti-reflective coatings have been applied to each lens surface to help minimize reflections in order to provide greater image clarity, contrast, and color fidelity.
Manual focus design is accentuated by a rubberized focusing ring, 120° focus ring rotational angle, an inset dial window, and bright, high-visibility yellow depth of field and distance scale markings.
An internal focusing mechanism maintains the overall lens length and, benefitting the use of circular polarizers and graduated neutral density filters, the front filter thread does not rotate during use.
The sophisticated optical system is housed within an all-metal lens barrel, which is built with the narrowest of design tolerances for refined precision and durability.
This ZF.2-series lens supports Nikon DSLRs' electronic interface for camera-based control over exposure settings and in-camera focus confirmation.
  • Otus 85mm f/1.4 Apo Planar T* ZF.2 Lens for Nikon F Mount

A portrait-length lens with no optical compromises, the Nikon F-mount Zeiss Otus 85mm f/1.4 Apo Planar T* ZF.2 Lens resembles its namesake and seeks to deliver notable performance in any situation. Based on the Planar design, this apochromat incorporates one aspherical element and six elements made from anomalous partial dispersion glass in order to effectively suppress chromatic and spherical aberrations throughout the focus and aperture ranges. Additionally, a floating element design is also employed and a Zeiss T* anti-reflective coating has been applied to individual lens elements for consistent sharpness and image clarity. As a high-precision tool, the Otus 85mm f/1.4 also features a refined physical construction to endure use in trying conditions.

The longer-than-normal focal length pairs well with the fast f/1.4 maximum aperture to enable precise control over focus position for shallow depth of field applications. Accentuating the range of control, this manual focus lens is complemented by haptic design elements, including a long rotational focus throw, rubberized focus ring, and an all-metal lens barrel with high-visibility yellow scale markings. This ZF.2-series lens is dedicated to Nikon F-mount cameras, and features an electronic interface to support camera-based adjustment over exposure settings.

Prime portrait-length lens designed for Nikon F-mount FX-format DSLRs and 35mm film cameras. It is also compatible with DX-format DSLRs, where it will provide a 35mm-equivalent focal length of 127.5mm.
Fast f/1.4 maximum aperture benefits working in difficult lighting conditions and also enables extensive control over focus placement for shallow depth of field and selective focus applications.
One aspherical element and six elements made from anomalous partial dispersion glass help to suppress chromatic aberrations for greater clarity and color accuracy around subject edges, regardless of the aperture setting in use.
Based on the Planar optical concept, this apochromatic lens virtually eliminates both chromatic and spherical aberrations in order to reduce color fringing and color artifacts in front of and behind the plane of focus.
A floating element design places variable air gaps between select lens groups to realize consistent performance throughout the focusing range, from 2.6' to infinity.
Zeiss T* anti-reflective coatings have been applied to each lens surface to help minimize reflections in order to provide greater image clarity, contrast, and color fidelity.
Manual focus design is accentuated by a rubberized focusing ring, 261° focus ring rotational angle, an inset dial window, and bright, high-visibility yellow depth of field and distance scale markings.
An internal focusing mechanism maintains the overall lens length and, benefitting the use of circular polarizers and graduated neutral density filters, the front filter thread does not rotate during use.
Rounded nine-blade diaphragm contributes to a pleasing out-of-focus quality.
The sophisticated optical system is housed within an all-metal lens barrel, which is built with the narrowest of design tolerances for refined precision and durability.
Aperture control ring features a locking position at the smallest aperture (f/16) to permit camera-based control over aperture values.
This ZF.2-series lens supports Nikon DSLRs' electronic interface for camera-based control over exposure settings and in-camera focus confirmation.
