question

I heard that the rain cover for the bag will not extend to cover the entire bag, which leaves the back/side of the bag unprotected from rain. Will this let water into the bag, thereby ruining the gears inside the bag?
Asked by: In Seong L.
Think Tank bags have a great deal of water resistance even without the rain cover. With the rain cover in place, rainstorms can be safely dealt with. The small area on the back not covered by the rain cover is reinforced by solid plastic sheets making it impossible for rain to get in directly. I have had Think Tank for 9 years. In that time the rain covers do their job in the rain. I never had water penetrate the inside of the cases or bags when the zippers were closed and the covers were in place.

question

Can the interior stretch to accommodate a camera rig that is 25cm or 9.85 inches high ?
Asked by: LEON C.
I'm away from my home and don't have access to a measuring tape. I would recommend calling ThinkTank. They have excellent customer service and will know for sure.

question

Any issues getting the 20 into overhead bins? Or is the 18 easier to deal with in airplanes/airports?
Asked by: Paul
Yes. Go with the 18. The measurements on the site don't take in to account the wheels or the feet. I returned the 20 and got the 18 which works great on all sized planes.
