Hi Glenda, the RMT-VP1K is fully compatible with RX 10 III.

I detected 6, depending on the detail in the shot. No. None of them are available at 600 mm. Not in my experience, anyway. The camera refused to focus at 600 mm. You could back off to 250, focus, zoom in again and focus again but never more than 350-400 mm. I wanted to throw the thing in the ocean.
