Sun-Sniper SSN-RB-TRA reviews

Sniper Strap The Rotaball Traveler with Rotaball Connector is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not good for vertical grip cameras I have owned a Sun Sniper strap for over 5 years and loved it but I sold it with my Olympus OM-D camera and so bought a new one. The first problem was figuring out how to attach the underarm strap as there were no instructions with the strap. Going online to their site, still no detailed instructions on how to put it onto the main strap! After a lot of time and trouble, I finally got it to work. The next problem encountered was the large Rotaball connector which is considerably larger than my first one....a lot bigger! When I attached my new extra battery grip to my new Olympus OM-D EM-1 Mark II, I realized that this configuration is going to be a huge pain in the hand (and butt) for me now. If doing a lot of vertical shooting, this rotaball has to be removed for easy gripping of the camera. The strap itself is sturdy and comfortable and is easy to use on the street and even has a retainer clip to limit movement on the strap if you are so inclined. My advice to the company is miniaturize the rotaball unit so I can again shoot in the vertical mode. Otherwise, a good strap.
