    ASUS WI502Q-SM-SR-Q reviews

ZenWatch 2 1.45" Smartwatch with HyperCharge (SIlver Case, Silver Metal Band) is rated 2.5 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful watch that looks good just in pictures This watch looks better in pictures, but it is not too bad looking either. Unfortunately, Android Gear is not well supported on this watch, so it did not work well on some Android devices that I tried. It seemed to work well with iPhone, though. In any case, I am not very pleased with Android Wear, or the kind of cheap look of this watch, so I went back on using the Apple Watch. I was really hoping to have a good alternative to the Apple Watch, but it is very hard to match its quality, features, and ease of use.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Battery issue In general the watch is OK with good display and color. However the battery can only last for a day. In other words, it must be charged every night to make it work for the next day. There is no emanual available in at the ASUS website. Turning off the watch sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't as it give me webpage. I wonder how can I get help on this.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Short battery life, bloatware, iffy band clasp The headline sums up my complaints about this watch. My previous watch was a Pebble Steel (PS). The ZenWatch battery needs to be recharged at least every other day; the PS battery still goes almost a week after two years of use. Since battery life is limited in terms of the number of charge/discharge cycles, I don't expect the ZenWatch to last more than a couple of years before it needs a new battery--if that's even possible. The ZenWatch is loaded with apps I am not interested in using; the PS lets you easily pick and choose (and has limited memory, so that's important). The band on the ZenWatch completely separates into two halves, and is tricky to latch. Latching it requires three actions: hook over a bar, close an inner latch, then close an outer latch, which doesn't seem to close all the way. The PS band doesn't completely separate, and it's easy to slip it over your wrist and snap the latch closed. The ZenWatch band is prettier, though. The ZenWatch has a much prettier color display than the ePaper display of the PS, and a touchscreen interface instead of the PS 3-button interface. Maybe I'll get used to it--probably just in time for the battery end of life.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The Goldilocks Watch Prior to this ASUS ZenWatch, I've only ever owned another "Smart Watch" which was free with the purchase of a Razer Keyboard. That being said, this watch has more functionality and far better graphics. The battery currently last a little more than 1.5 days, and that is good enough for me. The watch got better with the latest firmware update, so make sure to update. The multiple faces, all the crazy amount of apps, the look of it, and the price make the Zenwatch an awesome buy. Now, that doesn't mean it is the perfect watch. Things that I'm not so fond of, and I'm aware this might be a case of "Between Chair and Keyboard" Error. I've: unintentionally changed the watch face before, the screen can be hard to see in certain angles of the sun, the movement controls (flick the wrist for this/that) are finicky, and accidentally pressing on a notification may mean that you are going to be opening up an app on your phone (sucks when you're at work and a YouTube video starts playing on your phone). Other than those few nit-picky things, I would recommend people purchase the watch. It does everything you need it to, and more. Of course it's no Samsung/Apple, but it does enough for me to be satisfied. Being able to read text/notification is pretty awesome. The fact that I'm not coming down from a flagship watch, and moving up from a watch that almost nobody knows about, makes the ZenWatch just the right one, at least for the time being.
