ASUS Gladius overview

  • 1Description

The Republic of Gamers Gladius Mouse from Asus is engineered for right-handed users and tailored for first-person shooter (FPS) games. It features six programmable button, two of which are thumb buttons for quick and easy access to functions and macros. The 6400 dpi optical sensor has 50 g of acceleration and a 2000 Hz polling rate that provides quick and responsive tracking up to 200" per second. For durability, the Gladius comes with Omron switches that are rated up to twenty-million clicks. Furthermore, it has a customizable switch socket design that lets you swap out the switches as needed. Connect this mouse to your system via the included USB cable and install the ROG Armoury software to access additional options and features such as the surface calibration tool, user profiles, dpi adjustments, and more.

Customizable Switch Socket Design
Gaming mice take a lot of punishment, so the Gladius has been designed with durable Omron switches with a twenty-million click lifespan. Better yet, the switchable socket design allows you to swap out switches as needed. It also comes with reusable cushions to compensate for varying switch heights.
Detachable Cable
The Gladius comes with a 6.6' braided USB cable and a 3.3' rubber USB cable. Each can be detached with one touch and swapped around, depending on your preferences.
Calibrate to Conquer
The Gladius software has a surface calibration tool for pixel-perfect precision. By analyzing the surface characteristics, the Gladius can offer better sensor accuracy for improved responsiveness.
ROG Armoury
With the ROG Armoury software, you can customize user profiles via the intuitive dashboard. The Gladius also has built-in flash memory so you can take your settings with you on the go.

    ASUS Gladius reviews

Republic of Gamers Gladius Mouse is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Decent Mouse to use daily This mouse is big and I have small hand, however, I found it is still quite comfortable to use. I was using logitech g9x with either small or big case until it has double click issues. The most incentive for me to buy it is because this mouse can change a switch without the needs of soldering/damaging. I had a few top-end logitech mouses, ALL of them are eventually having double click issue after one or two years usage. And the mouse body and sensor are still perfectly working fine. I don't care what it claims that omron switch can last 500 million clicks, it is simply a joke because even it still can click, but if it sometimes double click, what the meaning of claiming it will last 500 million clicks? So, I searched online and find this mouse, which support to change switch without worry of damaging the mouse (sadly I always find difficult to repair a mouse if requiredsolderingskill) Even though I think I am more familiar with logitech mouses, but I have decided not to buy a mouse more than 60 dollars if it does not allow me to change/repair switch easily.
