    Sony AKA-FGP1 reviews

Finger Grip for Select Action Cameras is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's OK. Just OK The finger grip is just OK. It's a bit odd to shoot your videos using this device, like a pointer or like holding a pistol. What is missing from this grip is the ability to use it on a tripod if you want to. It has no hole or receptacle for you to do so. I know since it's finger, why would you want to use it with a tripod, but it would be nice to have it, just in case you want to use that feature. What I do like is the rubbery lens cap. You can tie it to the grip so you never lose it. I myself tied it to the Sony Shooting grip instead and don't use the finger grip much. Yes, I would recommend it...but it needs improvement.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from it's convenient It's my favorite device to hold the camera upright and have ready to use. I find that the videos taken with it are shot from a lower than desirable level compared to my eye level. So, I wind up hold the finger grip higher than comfortable. It's a nice idea, but the comfortable low level of operating the camera makes me look like a creepy stalker taking low shots of peoples bottoms. For comfortable shooting I prefer a selfie stick handheld somewhere mid-level so the camera is at my eye level rather than chess level.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good innovative solution It's a really cool product and makes your action camera ready for general shooting. It's small, innovative and excellently built. The only reason I'm giving a 4 star rating is that in my experience, you create more shake when using this and walking then just using a Sony tripod grip. The excellent optical image stabilization in the new Sony cameras help, but I still think the grip is a better solution, especially when you are walking

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A must have! This item was well thought out and the most used accessory I own. It provides convenience of camera use, with or without the live view remote attached. It also provides me with additional security when handling my camera by assuring that I don't drop it due to the trigger style holding feature. Simple to use and can't see why anyone would go without it. Highly recommended!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worth it for the lens caps Bought this mainly so I could get the lens cap for the X3000, as I don't use the waterproof case that much. Because the second lens cap included fits the older HDR-AZ1, I got two for one! The grip only fits the LVR3, so I will have to kludge it for my older LVR2.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing! The design of this grip is excellent. I use it for professional use and for my home video recording. I just took it on a trip to Colorado and it was compact and gave me the stabilization I needed for shooting.
