question
If I connect the QC35 to the airplane port to listen to a movie or something, assuming that my battery is full, will the ANC works? Or after I connect it to a cable, the ANC will get disabled?
I've never used the cable at anytime. But the owner's manual clearly states that once you plug the headphones in the ANC does not work.

question
I don't understand. If these are wireless headphones, what is the 4' cord for?
There are many times that you want to connect to to an audio system that does not have Bluetooth. For example, on an airplane or a portable radio or iPod that does not have Bluetooth connectivity. The cord allows you to connect your headphones To these sources.

question
Do these headphones cancel keyboard noises in an office environment?
Kinda not really... You should research how active noise cancellation works. Basically there are microphones that pick up background noise --typically constant droning type of sound and produce a sound that cancels them out. Since keyboard taps are a bit random and not classified as droning, it would be very very difficult for even the fastest ANC solutions' processor to pick up and cancel out those types of sounds. That said, these also have a fair amount of sound isolation if the ear cups fit snugly enough (will vary depending on the shape of your head) and may serve to dampen out the clickity clack of office keyboard sounds. They will not, howecer, actively noise-cancel intermittent sounds such as keyboard taps. No ANC solution would be able to, do this purely with ANC honestly.
