Add bass to your home entertainment experience with the black Velodyne MicroVee 6.5" 1000W Subwoofer. It features a 6.5" driver with 1000W of RMS power and 2000W of dynamic power for room-filling bass. With a frequency response of 38 to 120 Hz, the MicroVee is equipped to handle a variety of listening material. At only 9 x 9 x 9.6", the MicroVee can fit nearly anywhere.
Due to its compact (9 x 9 x 9.6") size, the MicroVee subwoofer virtually disappears except for its bass output.
The MicroVee features Velodyne's ERS (Energy Recovery System) Class-D digital amplifier. This amp supplies up to 1000W of RMS power to deliver both impact and detail. Rated at over 95% efficiency, this amp generates minimal heat, increasing its reliability.
To complement the amplifier, the MicroVee uses a three-driver system. The active 6.5" driver incorporates an aluminum cone and a 2" dual-layer copper voice coil to assure linear travel as it handles the power delivered by the amp. Two aluminum-cone passive 6.5" drivers augment the active driver and are tuned to deliver the output demanded by your entertainment sources.
Velodyne's distortion-limiting Dynamic Drive Control System (DDCS) is designed to assure tight, accurate, musical bass. DDCS is an active, signal-based system that promotes linear cone movement and controls the driver's frequency and distortion characteristics.
The MicroVee incorporates anti-clipping circuitry to limit amplifier clipping distortion, and Velodyne's "Subwoofer Direct" feature that bypasses the internal crossover to assure optimum performance in any music or home theater system.
