Lexar 64GB UHS-I SDXC Reviews
Lexar My Favorite
People praise Sandisk but I don't get it, I had quite a few of their cards getting corrupt and losing photos. That's not acceptable for professionals who can't risk that. On the other hand, Lexar has been perfect so far - hasn't been corrupted even once so far, so I will stick with these guys. They are my favorite SD RAM maker.
If only my old 1GB cards could see me now...
It's not the fastest card, but it's fast enough to shoot 4K24 on my A7S3 for hours or probably days.
I got two of these 1Tb cards on sale for my GH5. Now I can shoot all day without needing to change media or worry about lugging along my DIT setup. Card works great for 4K 10bit long GOP, but I wouldn't use it if you are recording all-i. Fantastic investment for doc or run/gun shooters.
Works with Sound Devices units
No problem recording @ 24 bit. 96kHz.
after couple of errors, 2 formats, seems to work ok
initially showed errors on my Nikon D800. BH chat responded ... more complaints / problems with Lexar ... can return for credit & buy other brand. Nikon shows the Lexar SDXC as compatible with D800. No mention of upper memory limit. However, the sale price was very low. I tried reformatting, twice, & after several weeks no problems. Not sure why BH continues to sell if having more complaints on Lexar than brands. Maybe stock chat answer? However, probably won't buy Lexar again.
Very Fast memory cards
Very fast as expected. Always shooting raw with my 26MP Fuji X-T4 and those cards always keep up extremely well.
I've been buying Lexar cards for years and haven't had any issues with them. I keep this card in my main camera and never have to worry about running out of space despite the large files sizes. I haven't encountered any buffering issues, but I don't shoot sports so can't attest that it will hold up to any amount of shooting.
