Experience Full HD gaming with the 15.6" P35X v5 Series Notebook from Gigabyte. This notebook has a 15.6" 1920 x 1080 IPS panel driven by a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980M graphics card with 8 GB of GDDR5 VRAM, allowing you to enable additional graphical options and crank up in-game visual settings to enjoy immersive and fluid gameplay. An In-Plane Switching (IPS) panel provides you with wide viewing angles and vivid colors. Furthermore, you can output video to an external display via its VGA, HDMI, or Mini DisplayPort.

Powered by a 2.6 GHz Intel Core i7-6700HQ quad-core processor and 8GB of 2133 MHz DDR4 RAM, the P35X v5 provides you with multi-tasking capabilities and quick access to frequently used files and programs. If you need more processing power, the CPU's core clock can reach up to 3.5 GHz with Intel Turbo Boost technology. Furthermore, the RAM can be upgraded to a max of 32GB, or 16GB per slot, for enhanced multitasking functionality and general system operation. For storage, it has a 1 TB hard drive for storing large files such as games, HD video, music, and more.

The P35X v5 is equipped with three USB 3.0 Type-A ports and one USB 3.1 Type-C port that transfers data at up to 10 Gbps. Use these ports to connect a keyboard, mouse, headset, and more. If you need more connectivity options, you can also pair compatible wireless devices to the notebook via Bluetooth 4.1 technology. The built-in SD card reader lets you transfer files and photos from digital cameras, and also serves as an additional storage option. Connect to the Internet via 802.11ac Wi-Fi, or the Gigabit Ethernet jack for a more reliable and stable wired connection. This notebook comes with Windows 10 Home (64-bit) preinstalled.

6th Gen Intel Core i7 Processor
The 6th Generation Skylake Intel Core i7 processor gives you blazing speed and performance that completes your computing experience. With this boost in performance, you can do more on your laptop ranging from work to play. Never worry about the battery life as this chip consumes 78% less power than the previous 5th Generation Broadwell chip.
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Graphics
The P35X features a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980M graphics card with 8GB of GDDR5 video memory, offering fast rendering of detailed effects without compromising on system performance. This dedicated graphics card provides more FPS with lighting effect, motion blur, and texture filtering checked at high. Additionally, it comes with Battery Boost 2.0 technology that delivers 30% more battery life at the same frame rate when compared to other technologies.
NVIDIA Optimus Technology
With NVIDIA Optimus technology, this system will switch between its dedicated and integrated graphics card depending on the current application in order to provide you with performance or energy efficiency.
DDR4 - Data Storage's Limit Breaker
The P35X is equipped with 8GB of DDR4 memory that runs at a frequency of 2133 MHz, which allows games to run faster and smoother. DDR4 also possesses more storage with a max capacity of 16GB per stick, double that of DDR3. Whether you are gaming or working, DDR4 will be able to provide superior performance.
USB 3.1 Type-C - Upgraded Convenience
The frustrations of turning a USB over and over trying to get it to plug has ended. With the introduction of the Type-C universal connector, connecting a USB is no longer a fuss. Not only is it easier to plug, it also has twice the throughput of USB 3.0 with data transfer rates of up to 10 Gbps.
HDMI 2.0 - Higher Frame Rate, Higher Potential
Unlike HDMI 1.4 which only supports 8-bit color and 30 FPS, HDMI 2.0 supports up to transfer rates of up to 18 Gbps, 12-bit color, and a 60 Hz refresh rate. See your favorite games how they were meant to be seen, in true high definition.
Huge Battery Capacity for Continuous Gaming
Portability and battery life go hand-in-hand and are both essential for mobile gamers. With a slimline design that few gaming laptops achieve, the P35X takes it a step further by also providing a large capacity battery, up to 75.81Wh or 8 hours of use.
Supra-Cool Technology
Supra-Cool technology features two heat pipes as well as two fans for cooling the processor and dedicated graphics card, providing high thermal conductivity for cooling. This technology enables you to run the CPU and GPU at maximum performance with stability.
Swappable ODD/HDD Slot
The swappable bay can take a DVD drive, Blu-ray drive, or an additional 2.5" hard drive or solid-state drive.
Auto-Adjust Backlit Keyboard
The P35X comes with a light-sensing backlit keyboard, which adjusts the light emitted dependent on the environment, providing trouble-free typing or gaming in dimly lit conditions.
Fan Tweak
Fan Tweak is designed with system stability in mind. All modes (except Max Fan) feature automatic progressive fan-speed control, which monitors different user sessions for optimal cooling scenarios. A relatively higher initial fan speed manages the buildup of heat during heavy sessions; and lower-speed steps are available for a tranquil experience whenever the chassis temperature drops to a set level.
XSplit Gamecaster + Broadcaster
Live stream on a laptop has never been easier. Now set up your stage and share the greatest gaming moments with XSplit Gamecaster + Broadcaster. Fully optimized social media integration is ready for real-time chats-keeping you notified yet focused in the game. It takes just one click to stream your gameplay to Twitch.

Windows 10

Start Menu
After its hiatus in Windows 8, the Start Menu has returned. Utilizing a combination of the traditional menu system and Windows 8's Live Tiles, the improved Start Menu gives you more information at a glance, showing notification information alongside your applications and other pinned items.
Cortana
Microsoft's digital personal assistant, Cortana can answer your questions with information gleaned from both your device and the internet at large. You can type or even talk with her, if your system has a microphone. Using her Notebook, Cortana keeps track of your needs and wants, and she learns over time to improve her information gathering skills.
Microsoft Edge
After nearly 20 years, Microsoft has finally replaced its Internet Explorer web browser. With Microsoft Edge, users can write directly on web pages and share notes with friends and colleagues. It also improves the online reading experience by adding a distraction-free mode and read-it-later functionality. Edge also has built-in Cortana integration; you can have her help you find a restaurant, make a reservation, and pull up directions without leaving your browser.
Windows Store
For Windows 10, Microsoft has unified the Windows Store. Now, apps for PCs, tablets, and phones will all be accessible from one place. And with support for Universal Apps, one version of an app can work across all your compatible devices automatically.
Windows Continuum
Windows 10 was designed for a variety of screen sizes and input styles, and with its Continuum feature, it automatically adapts to fit your needs. A Windows 10 tablet on its own requires a touch-centric approach, but attaching a mouse and keyboard will shift everything to a more traditional interface. You can even attach an external monitor to your Windows 10 phone for a near-desktop experience. But it's not just the operating system; Windows Universal Apps take advantage of Continuum as well.
Xbox on Windows 10
Gaming is a big focus of Windows 10. Xbox integration allows for PC players to match up against Xbox One players on supported games, and if you have an Xbox One, you can even stream compatible titles to your PC. Native support for recording with the new Game DVR feature makes it easy to capture and share your gameplay. The new DirectX12 takes better advantage of multi-core processors, giving games a performance boost, even on older hardware. Windows 10 also features native support for virtual reality headsets, such as the Oculus Rift.
