With support for the 802.11ad Wi-Fi networking standard, the Talon AD7200 Multi-Band Wi-Fi Router from TP-Link is capable of achieving wireless data transfer rates of up to 7200 Mbps. The Talon AD7200 operates on the 60 GHz, 5 GHz, and 2.4 GHz frequencies allowing users to allocate more data intensive tasks to the super fast 60 GHz frequency. This frequency alone is capable of offering wireless data transfer rates of up to 4600 Mbps, while the 5 GHz frequency supports speeds up to 1733 Mbps, and the 2.4 GHz frequency is capable of speeds up to 800 Mbps.
The multiple bands offered by this router are backed up by MU-MIMO (multiple user, multiple input-multiple output) technology which utilizes the eight external antennas to offer four separate data streams. These separate data streams act as individual highways giving multiple users a direct connection to the router.
If the enhanced wireless connectivity isn't enough, the Talon AD7200 comes equipped with four Gigabit Ethernet ports and two USB 3.0 ports. The dual USB ports allow USB compatible devices such as external hard drives to be connected directly to the router. Once connected, users can transfer files, stream multimedia content, and more directly from the attached drives using the super fast 802.11ad wireless connection. To ensure the network remains stable and reliable, TP-Link has included a 1.4 GHz dual-core processor capable of handling multiple connections with ease.
The Talon AD7200 uses this powerful wireless technology to provide speeds of up to 4600 Mbps on the 60 GHz Wi-Fi band.
60 GHz Wi-Fi Redefines Home Entertainment
Operating on the 60 GHz frequency users can transfer large files, photos, and even download movies in mere seconds.
More Wi-Fi for More Devices
The AD7200 uses multi-band technology to run three distinct Wi-Fi bands simultaneously, with a combined Wi-Fi speed of up to 7200 Mbps.
Wireless AC and multi-user MIMO technologies allow the AD7200 to serve multiple devices at the same time, providing speeds that are up to 3X faster for all devices on the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands.
Power at the Heart of Your Network
A 1.4 GHz dual-core processor powers through demanding tasks when numerous users are connected to the network at the same time. This allows multiple users to surf, stream, and game simultaneously while enjoying enhanced performance.
Dynamic Wi-Fi Coverage
The Wireless AD Technology comes with the distinct, high-performance 60 GHz Wi-Fi band to dramatically increase speed and reduce interference, what's more, the additional Wireless AC allows the router to provide strong and stable 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and full wireless coverage for your entire home.
Antenna Array for More Targeted Wi-Fi
32 antennas form a special antenna array for the 60 GHz band to ensure that Wi-Fi signals are concentrated towards your in-room devices, focusing the data transmission to where you need it most.
To match the enhanced Wi-Fi speed, the AD7200 uses dual USB 3.0 ports and four Gigabit Ethernet ports to transfer data at superfast speeds. This allows all of your wired devices to achieve peak performance.
