With a 30x optical zoom and remote control capabilities, the black Datavideo PTC-150T 2MP Full HD PTZ Camera with HDBaseT, is suitable for medium to large venues such as lecture halls, auditoriums, houses of worship, and stadiums. The unit consists of the pan/tilt module, the camera head and lens, and a receiver box. The PTC-150T captures HD video in 1080i/p and 720p at up to 59.94 for compatibility with NTSC broadcast equipment, as well as 1080i/p and 720p at up to 50 for PAL compatibility. It can output HD via its SDI or HDMI connectors, and a composite (CVBS) connector outputs NTSC and PAL.
The PTC-150T features a 1/2.8" CMOS sensor, 50 dB signal-to-noise ratio, and an electronic shutter with a range of 1/60 to 1/1000 second. The PTC-150T is suitable for use on a desk, mounted to a horizontal surface, or you can mount it to a ceiling using the included mounting plate. The camera also features a mirror mode that simplifies setting up the camera when it is mounted upside down. It features remote control operation of pan, tilt, zoom, focus, iris, shutter speed, and gain. The camera supports VISCA control protocol over RS-422 interface. You can program the camera with up to 50 preset positions, which is useful for repetitive events and productions. The small size and remote operation capabilities of the PTC-150T allow for placement where a manually operated camera and operator cannot go.
The built-in tally light enables you to use the camera as part of a multi-camera set up as it allows the talent to know when it is active. It features a mechanically removable IR cut filter, which moves out of the way in low-light situations when switching to B&W, and when light levels rise the camera re-engages the IR cut filter and switches to color mode. The separate HDBaseT module allows you to control the camera directly, or you can control the camera using RS-422 over VISCA protocols. The unit includes the HBT-11 HDBaseT receiver.
