Impossible I-1 overview

  • 1Description

The Impossible I-1 Instant Film Camera with Color Instant Film Kit is a B&H Kit that includes both the I-1 Instant Film Camera and 24 exposures of color instant film for 600-type cameras. The camera relies on an 82-109mm lens with a 5-zone autofocus system. Depending on the zone, the focal length will fluctuate slightly. Composition is made easy with a removable pop-up optical viewfinder on top of the camera. The I-1 updates the classic Polaroid flash to an advanced ring flash that offers twelve LEDs to illuminate your subject. For tactile control, the I-1 has physical lighten/darken and flash on/off controls to help dial in the appropriate exposures. For advanced techniques, the camera offers Bluetooth LE 4.0 connectivity for connecting to a smartphone or tablet.

Three included packs of color instant film contain eight sheets each of film for Polaroid 600-type cameras. This film features a 3.5 x 4.2" white frame with a glossy image area of 3/1 x 3.1". The film uses an innovative color protection formula that gives the photos saturated colors and a high level of detail and sharpness. Full development will occur approximately 10 minutes after exposure when working in a temperature of around 70°F / 21°C.
