Available for download, Best Service Tone2 Gladiator 3 is a virtual instrument that expands upon the previous version (Gladiator 2) to provide you with multiple methods of synthesis, all of which can be combined and affected in a variety of ways. In addition to the old stalwarts in synthesis such as pulse width modulation (PWM) and frequency modulation (FM), Gladiator 3 also includes Tone2's proprietary Harmonic Content Morphing synthesis, which allows the harmonic content of an oscillator to morph over time by loading not just samples, but 256 spectral snapshots at once. Furthermore, you can blend up to five oscillators at any one time. Within an oscillator, you can control the start position and speed of the content morphing.
Gladiator 2 features over 1200 preset patches, as well as an arpeggiator, a step sequencer, and a variety of filters and effects, many of which can be synced to the tempo of your host DAW. This software is compatible with Mac and Windows platforms, and can operate in standalone mode (Windows only), as well as within AU and VSTi formats.
