What is the difference between this lens and the SLR Magic Microprime Cine 35mm? Both are seemingly marketed as “Cine” lenses and I can’t figure out the differences between the two.
Asked by: Tim
The Micro Primes from SLR Magic have a sturdier construction and along with a uniform design across the various focal lengths.

whats the vignette and distortion?
Asked by: New User U.
This lens will be able to cover a Full Frame Sony E-Mount camera, like the A7SII. There should be no vignetting or distortion.

Lente SLR Magic Cine 35mm f / 1.2 FE para Sony E-Mount VS Rokinon 35mm T1.5 Cine DS Lens para Sony E-Mount
what do you recomend me?
Asked by: Marlon

can I use it in a Sony Nex-6?
can I use it in a Sony Nex-6?
Asked by: Gustavo
Yes, the NEX-6 is e-mount and this is a fully manual e-mount lens. You'll only be using the inner "sweet spot" of the image circle, since it's a full frame lens, but even so, I'd try one before you buy if at all possible to makes sure the image quality is up to your expectations.

How is this lens for Astrophotography? Does it have bad coma near the corners?
Asked by: Paul
I haven't looked at coma specifically, but distortion in general is pretty bad away from the center (on my copy, anyway, using it with an a7r3). It seems to suffer from astigmatism, You'd have to stop it down so much to get reasonable off-center sharpness that there would be no advantage to it being an f/1.2 lens.

I understand that this does not have AF, but do the manual focus indicators on the A7sII (yellow, red, white indicators) work to help you with focus or are you left to eyeballing it completely?
Asked by: Charles
AF assist and focus peaking are a camera feature and they will work with this lens
