This How to Make It in Film DVD continues the National Geographic Filmmaker series of behind-the-scenes interviews with regional, national, and international film professionals, this edition from First Light Video focuses on one of Nat Geo's own producers: Kathleen Jones. The 30-minute program provides information about a producer's role in the filmmaking process, and features questions from a live studio audience consisting of film students at George Mason University.
Kathleen Jones has served as Unit Coordinator for Special Units, Field Producer, and Associate Producer for National Geographic TV programs, including "Science of Dogs". She is also a writer for Doc&aDrink, a blog she co-founded that caters to those hooked on documentaries.
