Tried purchasing these through a large mail order service and had issues (not sure if they were knock offs or?). I have always been satisfied with the quality of items sold and the delivery service involved

I received this the next day! They have always had great service and good products that arrive in perfect shape.

Great reproduction. Absurdly expensive.

I feel like they should give their large format printers away for free, as they quickly recoup the costs in ink sales. But the printer/original ink combination is not to be messed with. Reliable.

Everything needed to replace all inks for prograf printers. Does not need to be installed at same time but definitely worth it as cheaper than individual carts

It's an ink cartridge needed to operate my printer. Wish it were less expensive.

Is there an expiration date on the ink ...

Is there an expiration date on the ink cartridges. If so, how long do they typically last? Need this to decide whether to go with 330ml or 700 ml.
Asked by: J David
Expiration Date is usally printed on the box, not sure if it's on the actual cartridge. Usually 6mos or so. I have been given mixed answers about expired inks. Some say they're fine but if you have a printer problem it could void any warranty you might have. I have used them at times with no issues. Also depends on how critical the prints are. If you're making certified proofs for print I would be hesitant to use them.

What is the shelf life of an unopened set of ink ...

What is the shelf life of an unopened set of ink and also when in use?
Asked by: ziad
If properly sealed, the ink should easily last for more than a year when stored appropriately. As for opened ink, the cartridges should be installed, and the Canon large format printer should be left on. That way the Canon large format printer will perform an electronic nozzle check periodically to maintain the cartridge. It uses only a small amount of ink to do that, and that process does keep the ink fresh and usable indefinitely. (Please note that this comment does not necessarily apply to non Canon or non large format printers.)

What is the shelf life of Canon PFI-1300 ink? In other words how long can I store a new sealed tank before it goes bad?

question

Is there any problem shipping this in freezing outdoor winter temperatures, where it might be left outside for hours before getting home to take it indoors. I am talking about temperatures in the 10-30 degree F range?
Asked by: Howard
If this ink actually freezes, it will separate. I would NOT recommend having it shipped to a location where it will be left outside in temps below freezing. Ship it to a location where it can be received indors, like your place of work (if allowed) or a UPS Access Point or FedEx Pickup point.
