Carson SS-560 overview

  • 1Description

This angled-viewing Everglade 15-45x60 Spotting Scope from Carson Optical makes the ideal companion at the range, in the field, or on the trail. At the low 15x it can be used for taking in expansive views and to find your subjects, while dialing it up to 45x gives you the capability of making detailed observations—even at long distances. The scope's large 60mm objective, combined with fully multi-coated optics, draws in generous amounts of light, giving it competent low-light performance such as at dawn or dusk or when trying to pick game out from under heavily canopied forests. With its eyepiece set at a 45° angle relative to the optical tube, your head and neck are in a comfortable position whether you're standing, sitting, or lying prone.

To withstand the rigors of a life lived outdoors, the housing is nitrogen filled and O-ring sealed to be water and fogproof, even in extreme conditions. The exterior is wrapped in a protective green armor that is textured to provide a slip-resistant grip when setting up and breaking down. To further protect the scope on the trail, Carson includes a soft stay-on/view-through case and flip-down objective lens cap. An extendable shade slides out to reduce glare on sunny days to improve image quality and helps to keep rain or snow off the objective if the weather turns. Helping to get you observing faster, also included is a tabletop tripod with a pan/tilt head.
