Capture 10MP photos and Full HD 1080p video (with sound) of wildlife or trespassers with the Covert Phantom Trail Camera in Mossy Oak Country Camo. Its passive infrared (PIR) motion sensor captures images when triggered by subject movement, and its very fast 0.4-sec trigger speed helps ensure you won't miss the shot.
The camera can also function in time-lapse mode, capturing images at scheduled intervals for the creation of a video showing change over a given duration. Additionally, you can select PIR + Time-Lapse to program the camera for both modes simultaneously--so even if you're in between scheduled time-lapse shots, the Phantom's motion trigger will remain active to ensure you don't miss a shot. An invisible flash with a 100' range allows for bright after-dark images while remaining completely discreet, so as not to spook or alert game or other humans. View images on the camera's 2.4" color TFT display screen, which gives you the option of playing a slideshow.
The Phantom records images to optional SD/SDHC memory cards up to 32GB. Power is provided by 4-12 AA batteries or a single 6-12V external battery.
Photo and Video Capture
Captures 1.3, 3, 5, 8, or 10MP photos
In Photo Burst mode, captures 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 or 10 shots in quick succession each time PIR sensor is triggered
Fast and Slow options for shutter speed
Records Full HD 1080p, HD 720p, or standard-definition WVGA video with audio
Designed to capture images very quietly so as not to spook or alert subjects
Lens offers 58° field of view
Passive infrared (PIR) motion sensor
Detects changes in temperature that occur when subjects move, and triggers camera to capture images in response
Adjustable sensitivity: low, normal, and high settings
Adjustable delay times between triggers, e.g., choose 10 sec and camera will wait that long before capturing another image in response to movement
In time-lapse mode, program camera to take scheduled shots every 5 sec (or less often) for up to 24 h so you can combine captured images into video to show change over time
Motion trigger and time-lapse modes can be active at same time, so camera will take photos when triggered by movement even if it's in between scheduled time-lapse triggers. This option gives you greatest number of shots
Effective range of 100'
Invisible flash provides ample lighting while remaining completely discreet, so as not to spook or alert game or other humans
Setup, Display, and Options
View images on the camera's 2.4" color monitor, which gives you the option of playing slideshow
Time, date, temperature, and moon phase can be stamped onto images
By recording phase of moon at time of capture, camera allows you to see which animals are inactive during full or nearly-full moon--when brighter lighting conditions make them more visible to predators
Moon phase also helps determine if brighter or darker backgrounds in images are due to fullness of moon
Quick Menu options: 2 photos with 30-sec interval, 3 photos with 1-min interval, 5 photos with 3-min interval, 1 photo + 10-sec video with 1-min interval, and 15-sec video with 1-min interval
Work-Time menu lets you choose when during the day you want the camera to be active, in case you only want it on during certain hours. Lets you customize the active hours for each day, so you could have different schedules for Mon/Wed/Fri, Tues/Thurs, and weekends
