Capture 12MP photos and HD 720/30p video (with sound) of wildlife or trespassers with the Outlook Digital Trail Camera in Mossy Oak Country camouflage from Covert Scouting Cameras. Three passive infrared (PIR) motion sensors combine to give you a wide 110° angle of coverage, capturing images when triggered by subject movement occurring within that broad field of view. The PIR sensors' fast 0.7-sec motion trigger speed helps ensure that shots are not missed.

The Outlook can also operate in time-lapse mode, capturing images at scheduled intervals without the PIR sensor being triggered. These captured shots can then be stitched together into a video showing change over time. A built-in, invisible, 56-LED flash with a range of 40' allows for bright after-dark images, while remaining completely discreet so as not to spook or alert your subjects. The 3" color LCD monitor enables easy selection of settings and options, as well as convenient viewing of captured images.

Photos and videos are recorded onto optional SDHC memory cards up to 32GB. Power is provided by 4-12 user-supplied AA batteries or an optional, external 6V battery connected to the camera's auxiliary power jack.

Photo and Video Capture
  • Maximum still image resolution of 12MP
  • Other selectable resolutions include 8, 5, and 3MP
  • Video recorded at HD 720p at 30 fps or WVGA 800 x 480 at 30 fps
  • Sound recorded along with video
  • Video captured in clips of 5-60 sec
  • Dedicated button enables manual photo capture if you see an opportunity while holding camera in your hands
  • Use Start-Stop function to choose when camera will be active, if you don't want it active all day and night
  • Quiet operation so as to remain unobtrusive
Motion Sensors
  • Three passive infrared (PIR) motion sensors combine to give you a wide, panoramic 110° angle of coverage
  • Camera captures images when PIRs are triggered by subject movement
  • PIRs detect changes in temperature that occur when subjects move, and signal camera to take photos or record video in response
  • Fast 0.7-sec motion trigger speed helps ensure that shots are not missed
  • Selectable delay times of 5-60 sec (in 5-sec increments) and 1-60 min for interval between trigger events
  • Captures 2-10 shots in quick succession each time PIR is triggered in Burst Mode
  • Camera has built-in temperature sensor that automatically adjusts PIR sensitivity based on environmental conditions, so there's no need to manually select low, normal, or high PIR setting
Time-Lapse Shooting
  • Camera can operate in time-lapse mode, capturing images at scheduled intervals without PIR sensor being triggered
  • Selectable Intervals: 5-60 sec (in 5-sec increments) and 2-60 min
  • Photos can be stitched together into a video showing change over time
  • Selectable interval times: 5-60 sec (in 5-sec increments) and 2-60 min
  • Can be active at same time as motion-detection mode, so you won't miss opportunities for shots that occur in between scheduled time-lapse intervals
Flash
  • Built-in, 56-LED invisible flash allows for bright images after dark and in other low-light conditions
  • 2 settings for flash range: 20' and 40'
Setup, Display, and Options
  • 3.0" color LCD screen enables easy selection of settings and options, as well as convenient viewing of captured images
  • Date, time, temperature, and moon phase stamping on images
  • By recording phase of moon at time of capture, camera allows you to see which animals are inactive during full or nearly-full moon--when brighter lighting conditions make them more visible to predators
  • Moon phase also helps determine if brighter or darker backgrounds in images are due to fullness of moon
  • Can select a camera password for extra security
Memory
  • Records photos and videos to optional SDHC memory cards up to 32GB
  • Overwrite function saves new photos over old ones if memory card becomes full. Each time new photo is taken, oldest photo on card will be overwritten
Power
  • Runs on 4-12 x AA batteries
  • 2300mAh NiMH rechargeable cells recommended
  • Can run on optional, external 6.0V battery connected to auxiliary power jack
Connectivity
  • Mini-USB port for connection and image transfer to computer or TV
Mounting
  • Reinforced threaded connector for tripod or tree/post mount
  • Optional Covert Tree60 mounting system lets you place camera up higher and aim it downwards, in case you don't have a straight tree for mounting or you just prefer a different perspective
Durability
  • Weather-resistant housing for protection against elements during extended outdoor use
