Kramer BCLS-31YL-5 Overview

The BCLS-31 (1000') by Kramer is a high-performance Cat 6A U/UTP cable for IT, LAN, and Ethernet installations. Its design exceeds Cat 6A specifications and provides a larger bandwidth than the basic standard cable (sweep frequency up to 650 MHz).

The cable is constructed with four pairs of 23-gauge solid bare-copper conductors. The low-smoke, zero-halogen jacket emits limited smoke and no halogen when exposed to high sources of heat, protecting people and equipment from toxic and corrosive gas. The jacket is round & smooth without twisted stripe, and its zigzag design provides excellent performance of six-around-one bundle transmission.

Other features include an internal rip cord to prevent damage to the individual conductors when stripping off the jacket, a cross filler to reduce crosstalk, sequential markings every meter, and a fumigated plywood reel.
