The BCLS-45 (1640') by Kramer is a high-performance Cat 7 S/FTP cable for IT, LAN, and Ethernet installations. Its design exceeds Cat 7 specifications and provides a larger bandwidth than the basic standard cable (sweep frequency up to 750 MHz).
The cable is constructed with four pairs of 23-gauge solid bare-copper conductors. The low-smoke zero-halogen jacket emits limited smoke and no halogen when exposed to high sources of heat, protecting people and equipment from toxic and corrosive gas. It also features sequential markings every meter.
To further help reduce the potential for electromagnetic interference (EMI), each pair is individually shielded with a metal-foil screen, and the entire cable is shielded with a tinned-copper braid.
The BCLS-45 comes packed on a fumigated plywood reel.
