FeelWorld FW760 overview

  • 1Description

Monitor SD, HD, and UHD 4K video with the Feelworld FW760 7" On-Camera LCD Monitor. A display resolution of 1920 x 1200 can display 1080p signals without scaling, as well as higher and lower resolution content. HDMI and analog composite video inputs are offered on the side of the monitor. For added security, a simple HDMI cable lock is included, ensuring a stable connection.

Despite its slim form factor, the FW760 offers many helpful functions that are useful across many different kinds of workflows. Various focus-checking functions such as peaking, zoom, and 1:1 pixel mapping assist in getting sharp images. Framing functions include anamorphic desqueeze, frame lines, markers, and image flip. Rounding out the internal feature set are the exposure functions which include histogram, false color, and zebras.

In addition to the aforementioned HDMI cable lock, a Mini HDMI to HDMI cable, sunshade, shoe mount, and L-Series battery plate are included in the box. Whether you're shooting with an SD DV camera, HD camcorder, DSLR, or 4K mirrorless camera, the FW760 will display your images.

    FeelWorld FW760 reviews

    FW760 7" On-Camera LCD Monitor is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 33.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Handy External Monitor I purchased this to compensate for my failing eyesight. It works great. I have not gotten a feel for how long the battery lasts, but the power light being on when the unit is off is disconcerting. I am using it as an external monitor for my Nikon D600. The hotshoe mount could be better designed for less freeplay when not tightened ( there is no little loose, only tight and real loose). The latency is not a real issue when using the camera for photography as apposed to videography. At this time I would definitely recommend this item. I have an extended event to shoot on Saturday. If I get a feel about the battery duration, I will report it here.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not the "Best" but surely a "Best Buy" First, the bad news: Modest dynamic range so don't try to judge exposure solely by this picture; very lightweight plastic-y construction which wouldn't likely survive hard service in rental or student use; high latency when processing UHD so there's noticeable lag. The good news is it works as advertised and it's amazingly cheap. I'm using it with a Panasonic GX85, shooting 3840x2160 at 29.97 or 23.978 fps, and this monitor displays it (downrez'ed to 1920x1080) both live while shooting, and playing back out of the camera. As long as you understand this monitor's limitations & use it appropriately, it's nothing short of miraculous that it works so well at this price point. Would buy again!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wont work as client/director field monitor I bought this to pair up with my Sony A7sii. It looks amazing while recording. However, this monitor, like all the others that are not an external recorder, will steal the camera's signal and the camera operator will not be able to view the camera's LCD screen display. You can not view both at the same time. So just beware- this monitor is only useful as an on-camera replacement to the camera's on-board LCD screen, as it will steal the feed from your camera during recording. Make no mistake, the visual quality is superb, but simply will not work as a field monitor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would definitely buy this monitor again. I got this to use with my GH4. When I first got it I didn't have a battery for it yet and used a 12V. power supply that I had. It worked for about 30 min. and quit working. I was bummed. Got home and checked the power supply and it was dead. Used a battery from my Ninja and the monitor worked fine. Have since gotten a large battery for it and it is working great. I am almost 60 years old and my eyes don't see the little GH4 screen so well. 7 screen is a must.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Great Monitor, Must have Pros: I used this monitor on my Canon 6D (this camera doesn't support clear HDMI but the monitor still works on it, just set over scanon the monitor) and URSA mini pro 4.6K (yes, this monitor works on 4.6k resolution without problems). A8500 mah battery lasts about 7 hours on it. Cons: When you need to flip the monitor and watch it upside-down, you have to flip the image in the menumanually. Then, if you want to change other settings, the arrow buttons still behave as when the monitor is upside-up. You need to thinkinverselybefore you press the arrow buttons.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product all in all I looking at anything other than High Definition would be a waste. Great focus ability because you can actually see the image with the great HD quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best HD monitor for the money! Hands-down, the Feelworld 760 is the best low cost monitor, period. Astonishing resolution, very true color right out of the box. Great adjustability and features. This is my third Feelworld monitor, and by far, the best.
