Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great Cable, Amazing for listening, Horrible for daily use I was really excited to try out this cable, as it seemed to be exactly what I was looking for. A way to continue using my beloved Shure headphones, but cut the wire and move into the modern era of wireless headphones. If all you're concerned about is listening, the cable is 4/5 stars and potentially better than using the cable. The only ding from listening only perspective is the obnoxious volume up and down tones that are not necessary and seem to be 2x the volume of what you're listening to. If you're using these headphones and want to use the microphone, good luck. It seems like they were designed for being used in a silent library, however if you try and use them in the real world, good luck having someone hear you. The microphone on this cable is probably the worst microphone I've ever used. Want to walk and talk, not gonna happen, unless you want to sound like you're sticking your head out of an airplane. Overall, the cable is great for listening to music, but they're terrible as a replacement for daily use if you're planning on talking on the microphone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great functionality and sound The cable connects to my Shure earbuds easily. It is short so doesn’t get in the way. Bluetooth hooks up easily. Charges quickly from a USB port and lasts a long time. Sound is excellent (I have B&w P9 wireless headphones for crtitical listening) but can’t be better than your buds and grommets. Experiment with the latter. Issues: I can only connect to 1 BT device at a time. It should connect to 2 devices. Possibly operator error. The connectors are straight but the Shure buds really need angled connectors to fit properly/comfortably.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not bad so far! Like a few others I was pleasantly surprised to finally see a Bluetooth cable compatible with the Shure SE Series IEM's (Still surprised Shure do not make one themselves!). Sound-wise its not bad at all - it can sound a little compressed sometimes (using via a iPhone 5S) - will probably be different through a newer/better phone/source - was not expecting miracles compared to a cable so all good. One issue is the output is not v. loud so have to crank up the volume which in turn wears the battery down. The remote can be a little fiddly to go back and forth between tracks (end up launching Siri most of the time), guess that will take some getting used to. On the positive side I was very happy about being able to pair it with a TomTom Spark Cardio + Music watch. Taking it for a run, there were some initial drop outs but I found this was due to the watch being worn on the left wrist, seems to prefer the right. The microphone is not too bad for calls, the person listening commented how good it actually sounded via Bluetooth. Overall am quite satisfied with it. Good job Westone! :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good sound, okay battery life I've been using this bluetooth cable with a pair of Sennheiser SE535s and my iPhone 6 for a couple of weeks now. To my ear the audio quality is essentially indistinguishable from using a wired cable. The controls are pretty easy to use even though you have to do it blind when you're wearing the earphones. The bump on the center button helps a lot with this. It does take a little trial and error to get a feel for how long the button presses for the various operations should be and you're on your own figuring out what the different beeps and boops mean. All-in-all they work very well, though. I've found the battery life to be acceptable. I've used them for the better part of a day and the battery level indicator on the phone was still reading 60%. I wouldn't expect to get much more than a day's use out of a charge, though. In my experience they run out a couple of hours into the second day's use. A full charge seems to take about two hours to complete.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good idea, sounds great with support for BT Aptx I use this product with my Weston W40 and Weston ADV series. Normally for on the go, or at the Gym The Good: The sound quality is great, it's even better with the cable if the device supports Bluetooth Aptx. Example of this, using my Westone Adv with the Westone BT cable I notice the difference, it sounds cleaner and spacious than with the cable, but with the Westone W40 I still prefer the cable. Normally my MacBook Pro will sound better than my iPhone 6s since MacBook Pro has Aptx support. The bad: I give it only 3 stars, because the signal tends to drop time to time when caring it connected to my iPhone while in my front jeans pocket. This seems weird, since it has a good range when I've tried it leaving my iPhone in my desk and walk around my Studio Apartment without a problem. The controls seem a bit weird, they fall out of the standards, so it requires a bit to get use to them. Instead of skipping (going forward songs) with the center button (like more of the devices with 3 buttons plus mic), they went for a different setup, where you have to press the Volume + button for more than one second. Also, the pairing takes some time to get a hold onto, when I try to setup the device in pairing mode, (Press center for 5 seconds) and it ends up turning off the device (Press center for 2 seconds turn off). Then when I tried to put it back in pairing mode, I long press again (5 seconds) and the device just turn on (Press center for 1 second). So I've found myself turning it on and off multiple times before I manage to put it successfully in Pairing mode. My experience with other devices is that, if you Press more than 5 seconds (to go into pairing mode), it doesn't matter if the device is turned ON or OFF or playing songs, it jump into pairing mode. This doesn't seems to be the case here. You have to bounced back and forth before it actually go into that state with it's a bit of a hassle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Way better then having a cord. use this with my w40's and to be honest hard to tell a difference between cord and cordless. I get small cut outs every once in a while if riding my bike with them. Totally worth it not to have a cord! With phones moving to getting rid of 3.5mm jack this is the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Feel the music not the wires I own 4 pairs of Westone earphones including custom monitors. I tested with all of them and they work really well and light weight worth every penny that you spent for this bluetooth. I always buy gear from BH!
