    Viper 3.5" USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A HDD Enclosure is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fine but for the documentation Installing HD in this enclosure was easy enough, but if only the brief documentation had included the information that after plugging the thing in and turning on the power switch, the signal light would stay off and the drive would remain totally silent unless and until it was connected to a computer, I would have been spared a huge amount of dismay and trouble. Once I learned that, it was all fine and I have no complaint.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good value external enclosure The enclosure is well built and easy to assemble. My favorite feature that is lacking on other enclosures is the ON/OFF manual switch. Keeping in connected at all times but turning it on only if needed is a big plus for me to keep the wear and tear down and the electricity consumption low.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everyone should have one of these in their arsenal. If you need an enclosure for 3.5 inch hard drives, this is a great unit. Ready to go, right out of the box.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very happy Super quiet with no fan. Works great with a raspberry pi. Quality construction and dim blue status light.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for the money Used to bring old SATA hard drive in as an external storage drive. Inexpensive, and it seems to work OK
