The channel D AirLine 88 Headset UHF Wireless System from Samson offers true wireless freedom without the hassle of a beltpack or a cable. It features a lightweight, water-resistant micro-transmitter headset with a secure yet comfortable fit. It can be used in applications for fitness and aerobics instruction, auctioneers, singers and dancers, education, in houses of worship, and more.

The frequency-agile UHF wireless system provides high-definition sound featuring 16 operating channels across a 24 MHz bandwidth, and it has a 300' operating range (line of sight). The receiver is built with XLR and 1/4" output connectors and has an LED display to indicate the operating channel.

In addition, a rackmount kit, a USB battery charger/cable, an AC adapter, and four mic windscreens are also included.

The Wireless Future
Building on their previous cable-free wireless system (Samson's AirLine 77), the AirLine 88 Headset combines a micro transmitter and an adjustable gooseneck into a low-profile headset that molds to the shape of your head
Fitness in Mind
Designed with Yoga, Pilates, Zumba, and cycling instructors in mind, the system's headset features water-resistant components including a marine-grade stainless steel gooseneck, a sealed circuit board, and an AE50X micro-miniature microphone capsule. The capsule's cardioid pickup pattern prevents feedback and other unwanted noise from affecting a performance
Tour Support
Offering frequency-agile operation, the system's CR88 wireless receiver provides 16 selectable channels for reliable performance. The receiver's True Diversity design minimizes dropouts, while tone-key technology prevents unwanted noise when your transmitter is off or out of range. For classes with more than one instructor or facilities with multiple studios, up to eight systems per frequency band can be used simultaneously

AirLine 88 Headset UHF Wireless System (Channel D, 542-566 MHz) is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from At least in the short term, I love this mic. I used the Airline 88 for my Wild West show in a theater setting which included much physical activity as well as singing and speaking. It worked as advertised and was very comfortable and stable on my head as well as easy to charge and sounded great. B& H Photo had the mic to me in Idaho the next day as promised. I was very pleased with the service and with the product. If the 88 can hold up to summer time use it will be the Best Buy I have ever made.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great mic with room to be even better I have used a Samson headset mic for many years as part of my Parrot Show. In recent years I was getting a lot of interference because the frequency was not adjustable. So I recently upgraded to the Airline 88. I no longer have interference issues. I am not thrilled with the new mic boom though as it is shorter than my previous set was, only extending to the corner of my mouth. This leaves me getting a lot of wind noise and limits the volume I can get from this unit. So now I don't get interference from other frequencies, now I have wind noise issues and a lower volume I can achieve with this mic. I would like to have the option to purchase this unit with the previous mic set. That would make for an awesome unit. And it would be nice if they gave me a regular plug instead of that magnet thing that falls off easy. I use the mic every day and I am happy with it but have a few wishes for upgrades.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Performs well except for recharging the headset. We have been using this for a few months now, and our main issue is the magnetic charging plug that comes off with very little effort while charging. Otherwise the unit works as advertised. I am not aware of any other unit in this price range that is better, but I would be reluctant to buy another until a better charging design is implemented in regards to the headset.
