The Ringfolio Binder Box from Archival Methods is designed to store documents, artwork, and photographs and protect them from dust and moisture. The binder has three 2.5" D-rings that accept up to 85 pages with a maxiumum size of 12 x 10".
The Binder Box core is constructed from kappa board, which is a bookmaking board with no glue between the layers. The exterior is covered in a library-quality F-grade poly-cotton buckram and is moisture-resistant because of the 100% aqueous acrylic coating. Inside it's lined with an acid- and lignin-free 80 lb paper, which is sulfur resistant to <.0008%. The adhesive used is pH-balanced and buffered, and PAT testing has proved it to be suitable for long-term storage. The close-tolerance construction of the box keeps dust out, and the box has a reinforced hinge.
