    EDIMAX Technology AC1750 reviews

    AC1750 802.11ac Dual-Band Wi-Fi USB 3.1 Gen 1 Adapter is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works fine. We have a n router, not an AC standard router, but, compared to the adapter built into our relatively new laptop, the wireless download speed increased from about 20 Mbps to 36. Our hard wired service from Comcast into the router is about 85-90 Mbps so there is speed loss in wireless, but it's much less with this adapter than the one that is built into our Dell laptop. Plus, if we ever buy a new router, (and possible upgrade our Comcast internet service), we may be able to take advantage of the higher AC band speed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect item. I had bad experience with EDIMAX AC-600. Now, I have better result with this item. I strongly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So good that I bought a second one I did a LOT of online research for a GOOD wifi adapter. I do not like spending a lot on one, but I also hate to have a weak connection. I had bought a wifi card (PCI) for a computer which was dead, and made me a bit paranoid about getting a dud. Also, I had bought a couple of those cheap $10 wifi dongles, and one has worked great, but the other has been a pain and is hit/miss (plays well with one computer, not well with another, needs driver manually installed / reinstalled periodically, etc.). I just wanted something that worked, and worked well. I read a lot of online reviews of some of the more common and expensive usb-wifi adapters. Some looked great at first, high ratings, but as I read the reviews it looked like the negative reviews were real and the glowing 5-star reviews seemed kind of suspect (very general). This one seemed well-reviewed without any significant negative reviews. I liked the fact it was USB 3.0 and could use 5Ghz wifi (both faster than USB 2.0 and 2.4Ghz, I think). I don't know the tech stuff except it performs very well, get noticeably faster speeds than I do with my one good dongle (which uses USB 2.0 and 2.5Ghz). I bought a second one for another computer I built.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good throughput Edimax adapter has a good throughput in 802.11ac mode, even when connected through USB 2.0. But sometimes it stops working and needs to be reconnected.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Increases signal This holds the signal once it catches it. It helps dropping signals I was getting. It is very easy to set up.
