    Epson P800 reviews

SureColor P800 Designer Edition Inkjet Printer is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the printer! Hate the software! Purchased this printer to replace a Epson 2200, the print quality and color is amazing! However Epson's EFI RIP printing software in this Design Edition is so buggy, after spending hours with tech support, no one could get my EFI software to activate properly to remove DEMO from my printouts. I found the tech people totally rude and incompetent. Save your energy and your money, buy the P800 without Design Edition! Use the savings to buy ImagePrint RIP software, it's reliable, has wonderfully accurate print quality and has great tech support that really does help to resolve any issues or questions you may have.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So far so good! Easy to use and set up. Connected to my wifi without any problems. The quality of the printed image is pretty impressive. I'm more than happy with it, being an amateurish photographer. The Fiery software was a bit of a pain to install. I had to download an ISO file since my disc didn't work. (Mac OSX 10.12) The file is almost 7 gbs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love at first site This printer is simply amazing.... love at first site. The prints are gorgeous. It is simple to use, love that it switches blacks depending on your paper choice. It prints up to 11x22 borderless. It is large and a bit heavy but did not think it would not be with all that it does. I am an art director and photographer and would highly recommend this printer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Upgrade from Epson 2200 This replaced my Epson 2200 and I am very pleased with the upgrade. So far have been using cut sheets but I am liking the ability to print at 16 inch widths. Colors have been spot on and overall quality is great. Will be testing different papers with the print black cartridge and then will try the matte black cartridge.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Printer I've had the P800 three weeks now. The set up was easy. The first print was almost great (I used the let printer control printing). After using color Munki what you see is what you get. Black and Whites have good depth. FS NYC

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No dissapointments - quality delivered The Epson P800 was purchased to replace an Epson 3880. I was a bit hesitant in replacing the 3880 but repair cost was near the price of the P800. From the minute I opened the box to building an ICC profile and printing my first print, there was no disappointment. As a replacement or new printer I would highly recommend the Epson p800.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would buy the P800 again and will recommend it to friends. It worked right out of the box and the first photos I printed were excellent, even without calibrating the screen with the printer using the ColorMunki I also purchased. I bought this to replace my beloved Epson R2400, but wish I had upgraded to the P800 sooner after viewing my initial prints. It is a large machine compared to my old 1270 and 2400, but worth finding space for it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Reliable (sort of) We have used and been pleased with Epson printers over the years. This one is reliable like the others but with a giant HOWEVER. The EFI eXpress rip software that came bundled with it proved to be so unreliable as to be worthless. After multiple and lengthy calls to Epson tech help the issue(s) were not resolved. Very disappointed.
